Amneal for reflux?

Our dr gave us this med, but after a google search it appears to be a new drug. Has anyone used this? Did it help at all?

    I've never heard of it.

    I'd be leery of trying a new med on a little baby and would probably ask to try Zantac or Prevacid if it's really bad. 

    That's just me. I obviously didn't answer your questions and am of no help.

    I didn't even think to ask when we were at the dr (probably because the baby was screaming her head off). Then I got home and read the insert and saw it was new. Not sure why we weren't put on Zantac or Prevacid.
