Fetal Doppler Rentals?

Anyone done this? Have any opinions on if they work and if you can tell the two heartbeats apart? Any opinions from your doctors?

I rented one with my last pregnancy. This time I just bought one, much cheaper. I bought the sonoline B. It took me a bit to find the second heartbeat, but I can definitely tell the two apart. They aren't that far apart location wise, but far enough that I can tell it isn't the same baby.

I love listening to them. I do it every night before bed.

I too bought a Sonoline B and was able to find both heartbeats. It took awhile at first, but once I knew the general areas they liked to hang out it was easier. Mine came from fetaldoppler.net for about $50. I've actually been thinking about reselling it now that I'm close to the end and regularly feel their movements.

I had the Sonoline B as well and am trying to sell it. We were almost always able to find both heart beats with it. It gave me such piece of mind.

I had a quick u/s at every appointment because my doctors won't even attempt the Doppler with twins. I figured if my doctor wouldn't try it, I probably shouldn't attempt it either. My guys' heartbeats were almost always within 5 bpm of each other.

I was seen so often that I never really felt the need to have my own Doppler. I think it would have caused unnecessary anxiety and worry.
THIS.  Actually my MFM won't even turn the audio on when listening for our girls' heartbeats.  They said with as frequently as we're seen for a mono/di pregnancy they don't like risking exposing the babies to more power than necessary.  They told me according to the AMA, they actually aren't permitted to turn the audio on for the heartbeat unless they are having a difficult time catching a good wave.

I purchased the Sonoline B and love it. We listen to them every night before bed starting at about 11 weeks (although now at 16 they like to run away from the doppler, so we have to chase them).
