bf w/ pcos question

For those of you with Pcos, did any of you take metformin while trying to breastfeed & if so, did it help your supply? I was on it till 20w but now only get about half of what I need for my twins. I read metformin might help. Anyone have success? Thanks!

Me:29 DH:29  TTC since 1/11 Dx: unexplained IF/early DOR/immune issues 
Feb'12- July'12-testing(all clear minus slight arcuate ute), 3 IUI with clomid all BFN
8/30IVF#1 Antagonist protocol- ER 9/11-8R, 7M, 5F. 
ET 9/14 2 embies transferred. 1 10cell Grade 4, 1 8cell Grade 4. No frosties. BFN
IVF#2 Antagonist protocol plus baby aspirin- ER 12/5-16R, 12M, 8F!
ET 12/10 5dt! 1 fully expanded blast & 1 early blast. No frosties. BFN
3/13 hysteroscopy & polypectomy, Consulted w Dr. Kwak-Kim.  
DX: High NK cells, cytokines, DHEAs& PAI1;  hypothyroid, +APA, restricted bloodflow
7/13 IVF#3 Long lupron protocol with PIO, Crinone, Prometrium, and vivelle
(plus synthroid, metformin, baby asa, metanx, PNV, Vit E, D, calcium, fish oil, CoQ10, IVIg infusions and lovenox per Dr. Kwak-kim)
ER 7/19 14R, 11M, 9F(4 natural fert, 5 with ICSI)
ET 5dt 7/24 2 fully expanded blasts.  SURPRISE 3 FROSTIES!!!
Beta #1 8/2 335!!!! Beta #2 829!!!  1st u/s 8/14 showed TWINS!!!!!

    I didn't, but was told it could help. I did fenugreek, mothers milk tea, oatmeal, flax seed, and brewers yeast. And power pumping.

    IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
    IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
    beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
    beta #2 11/28 = 2055
    Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
    Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!

    I did not take it, and just kept baby to the boob a lot! I also added fenugreek when needed, and i nursed for a year, until i had to wean to get pregnant again...
    Good luck!

    Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses....
    All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!

    Thank you, I ep as I go back to work tomorrow. I've tried fenugreek, blessed thistle, oatmeal, brewers yeast, & reglan with no success. I'm OK with them getting what I can give, just wanna make sure I've tried everything I can.

    Maybe try pumping more (like every 2 hours?) and up the fenugreek? I was taking 12,000iu to get results... I took 4 pills 3 times a day... My LC told me if i dont smell like syrup its not enough! It usually took 4 days for me to notice the increase!

    I've been trying to pump every 2 while I'm home but that won't be possible on days I work. I also took 4 fenugreek 3x a day without much difference but I also didn't smell like syrup.

    My lactation consultant suggested it, but my Dr wasn't familiar with the research and denied my request for a prescription. Went with Go Lacta instead, which seemed to help but was a bit costly.
    Can't figure out the signature thing, so here's the short, short version.....first daughter born on November 10, 2013. She was conceived through the magic of IVF after 2+ years of TTC.

    I am on Metformin for PCOS. I was unfortunately unable to BF my daughter long, and was not on it at the time, but would like to know if there's any truth to it helping with supply as I plan on trying to BF this LO too.
    ME: 24 with PCOS and a HX of Endo (rem. 04/12) 
    DH: 24 with Low Motility 
    TTC since 11/09
    M/C 01/11 at >2w, chemical pregnancy
    50mg Clomid 02/12, -OPK
    100mg Clomid 03/12, -OPK
    Surgery to remove endo. and check tubes 04/04/12
    10d Provera & 150mg Clomid 05/12, 1st positive OPK!
    BFP 06/12
    DD born 01/30/13!!! 
    TTC #2 since 09/13
    Last Normal Cycle 12/16/13
    Neg OPKs in 01/14
    Neg Prog. in 01/14
    10d Provera started 01/21/14
    SURPRISE BFP 02/06/14
    ER Visit 02/15/14, u/s showed empty uterus, BHCG = 111

    07/21/2014 diagnosed with APS (Lupus Anticoagulant), Factor V, and MTHFR mutation in addition to PCOS and HX of Endometriosis
    10/27/2014 repeat Lupus Anticoagulant tested negative
