Second time csection question

I had a preemie last time around with an emergency csection. This time I am having a cerclage placed and the doctor mentioned an amino at 36 weeks to check the lungs. Anyone btdt? Tips?

Cameron Jacob (CJ) came early @ 25w4d on November 16, 2012 due to placenta abruption and incompetent cervix . Weighing 1lb 15.5oz, 14 inches long.

    I've had an amnio at 38 weeks and 37 weeks my last 2 pregnancies to ensure the lungs were mature before the CS. Anytime you have a CS before 39 weeks they'll do that to ensure the lungs won't have any issues. It was NBD and I barely felt the needle since my stomach was so big. The procedure's quick, and they have the results the next day. You do need to wait a bit after to make sure it doesn't start labor. No experience with the cerclage.
