Heartburn

i recently been getting a lot of heartburn I am 35 weeks, is this normal and is it a fact that the baby will have hair if mom has heartburn or is that a myth? With my first son I did not have any heartburn and he was bald when born....jw

I got heartburn at 35 weeks too, but it only lasted a few days. Now it's back with a vengeance… I was kind of hoping it was a sign of impending labor.

I can't speak to the hair thing though, though it sounds like a myth to me.

I had heartburn the last several weeks with DS and he was born with very little hair. I have heartburn again with this LO and I've been told based on the u/s that it has "a lot" of hair.

Not sure what heartburn would have to do with your baby's quantity of hair. Heartburn is a normal symptom towards the end of pregnancy as baby takes up more room. I don't get it when I'm not pregnant, but when I am, I have to keep antacids nearby.

I've had pretty constant heartburn throughout my pregnancy, and the ultrasound also showed lots of hair. Not necessarily causation, but looks like there is correlation!

I had heartburn from the second I conceived with DD1, and she had tons of hair. I have it really bad with this one too (sometimes so bad I throw up)...so we'll see. Zantac and milk are my friends

heart burn is a result of the digestive system being slow towards the end of pregnancy. so I don't see how it would have anything to do with babies having hair. That to me seems genatic
