My 11 wk old EBF twins are having some gastrointestinal distress that I was hoping to treat with probiotics. It's not allergies as their stools are fine and if it's something I'm eating I'm struggling to figure out what it is.
I'm having a hard time finding probiotics locally though and only want to have them shipped if they are refrigerated. I'm also struggling to find a cost effective brand that doesn't have to be mixed with a liquid. Anyone have thoughts on this? The biogaia/gerber soothe drops on amazon are so expensive right now!
Also, is there any value if I take probiotics? I don't imagine any of it would transfer to the babies but I figure it can't hurt.
