Dressing for a wedding in the second trimester?

Hi ladies! I'm in my first trimester, but I have a question for you. I will be 15 weeks at my brother in law's wedding in August, and I'm dress shopping. It's a pretty formal event. This is my second pregnancy, but I can't remember what it was like or what I was wearing at that point! I'm sure I'll show earlier than last time (when I started showing around 20 weeks). Any suggestions for the style of dress that would look best for the funny in-between point of 15 weeks?

I'd look for a Jersey knit fabric or something similarly stretchy and forgiving. Also high waisted like an A line or empire waist.

Since it's August I would get something flowy & summery with an empire waist.

I just bought this for a wedding I'm going to next month - I'll be about 28 weeks. I didn't get a huge bump with my son, and I just started showing at 21 weeks. It's not inexpensive, but we have some other things to go to in August so I'll get some wear out of it - can always put it on e-bay and sell it later on. They have the same style in shorter dresses and it comes in different colors. I think it's something that can work at any stage. COUPON10 gives you 10% off if you like it.

I'm showing and I'm 19 weeks. It's grad season, so I've found a high-waisted dress (empire) and it flows down. It give room for my belly, and it's decently flattering I think. It also shows that it's a baby bump, and not like, an unattractive dress fold haha. Maybe make sure there's room for your boobs too… Mine recently went up another cup size so I would suggest making sure there's space for your "girls" too!

Im 6 months getting married in a week and got an empire waste gown one size bigger looks wonderful! There are tons of options out side of maternity clothing! Good luck.

I wore a form fitting 50s style Betty Paige sheath dress and flaunted whatever little bump (even if mostly bloat) I had. It looked pretty darn good if you ask me.
