Toddler with raspy, hoarse voice

Hi Ladies,

My 2 year old DD will go through periods where she sounds very hoarse.  She will wake up one morning with a hoarse voice and sometimes it will be like that for up to a week or a little longer before it goes back to normal.  Then she will be fine for a week and then she will wake up hoarse again and stay hoarse for a little bit.  Right now, she has been hoarse since Thursday morning.  On Friday, my mom said she practically had no voice when she woke up from her nap but then she got better.  She is still hoarse but I think she's getting better.

She has no other symptoms at all and seems perfectly happy and healthy otherwise.  She's not coughing and doesn't sound the least bit congested at all.  She is sleeping fine, eating well, playing, has loads of energy, etc.  Since she's not sick, DH and I never thought the hoarseness was a big deal but my parents keep telling me I should take her to the pedi.  I'm not sure what to do.  Have any of you ladies ever experienced this?

Occasionally when C's reflux is acting up she'll sound a little hoarse. Maybe silent reflux (silent in that there are no other symptoms)? Eta: check her breath, if it smells awful on mornings she wakes up hoarse, more chance of it being reflux.
