Prayers for a friend please

So my good friend from work is newly pregnant. She is actually another January mama, due January 24th 2015. She has a previous loss tho. Her previous pregnancy She was due August 2013 but found out at 21 weeks that her baby had trisomy 13 and many severe cardiac abnormalities and severe IUGR. She went on to lose that baby at 23 weeks. She waited 2 months before they started trying to concieve again and it took them exactly a year to get pregnant this time.. She is the nicest person and is just very genuine and will be an amazing mother. I was obviously elated when I found out that she was expecting.

Today she had her first appt/US. Which baby matched up with her dates from her period and good HR. But she has a subchorionic hematoma, which she also had last time and found out at 8 weeks as well. Although I know this doesn't mean this baby has trisomy but I just feel so bad for her that this pregnancy is starting out exactly as it did before and obviously last time did not end well. If it were me I would be freaking out that I had this again. I assume she is too. Obviously I am not going to bring that up. I just want to be positive for her at this point.

So just looking for some extra prayers her way for a healthy baby and safe/healthy pregnancy. She is having genetic testing in three weeks and also the NT scan. 

I HOPE this is her rainbow baby.

    Can she have the panorama testing (or harmony -couple of brands...cell-free dna testing) done ? Fx that things work out this time for your friend!!!

    12/26/2012 U/S #2 8w6d - No more heartbeat, MMC; D&C; Chromosome testing normal; male :( RPL testing normal 
    4/3/2013 DX Asherman's Syndrome caused by D&C, hysteroscopy done
    June 2013 IVF #4 planned 
    5/12/2013 SURPRISE BFP! Natural cycle 
    7/11/2013 Panorama results Normal!!! Team Pink, partial previa moved up in 2nd tri9/5/13 (19w) AS scan shows short cervix, 2.5 cm 9/19 (21w)  Cervix is worse 1.87cm, bed rest 10/26 & 10/27 steroid shots 12/19 (35w) DX: SGA Baby went from 57% percentile to 18th percentile in 6 weeks. Weekly BPP and NST until she is here. 1/17/18 Growth scan puts Abby below 10th percent in size, low amniotic fluid, and less movement. Time to induce!
    1/18/14 2:11am Abigial Morgan is here! 5lbs 14oz and 18 inches of pure cuteness!!!

    I would definitely demand the MaterniT21, Harmony, Verifi in her situation... any one of those tests can be done very soon, as soon as 10 weeks.  I can't imagine that her doctor wouldn't do them, though, given her past history.

    Absolutely, t&p and fingers crossed everything works out. It certainly sounds like she deserves a chance to be a mommy and I really hope she gets it!

    @precious72381 and @peanutmuse yes she is having one of those blood test done. Not sure with one specifically, but one of those that were mentioned. She will be having that done when she goes back in 3 weeks.

    Although last time the testing she had done and found out the trisomy was a fluke and that neither one of them is a carrier. So they have the same chance ad anyone else to have one.

    She was very supportive when I was on bedrest with my dd and visited frequently. At that time I had shown her the bump. So she does know about it.

    I currently have a subchorionic hematoma and I am pretty freaked about it, so I totally know what your friend is going through. She should definitely get one of the DNA tests ASAP that peanutmuse mentioned. With her history, insurance will most likely pay for it.
