Just a friendly reminder to be careful with your pets this summer. They can overheat and get heatstroke quicker than you think.

Today we took E outside to play with bubbles. My 90 lb pup was outside with us for only 10 minutes chasing bubbles, when he suddenly had his first ever seizure due to overheating. 10 minutes. That's all it took.

Luckily we were able to get him inside and get some cool water on his tongue and cool him down enough to end the seizure and calm him down. He seems ok for now, but it seems that once they have overheated like this, it's more likely to happen again.

So keep your pets inside when you can, plenty of fresh water available when they are outside, and never, ever leave a pet unattended in a car.

    Hope your dog is okay! Our little pooch loves watermelon. We give it to her to help with her fluid intake in the summer!

    Clomid 50mg 12/2011 = BFN
    Clomid 100mg 1/2012 = BFN, with Cyst
    IVF #1 Lupron/Menopur/Gonal-f/HCG Trigger
    ER 4/19/12 = 11 retrieved, 6 fertilized,
    ET 4/22/12 = 2 transfered (day 3), remaining 3 weren't good enough to freeze
    Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
    Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!! 
    Baby girl J arrived two weeks early! Born into water, med-free. Hooray for Team Pink!

    TTC #2 - back to the RE, treatment started 12/2014.
