I return to work in 2 weeks and DD2 has decided to scream when you put a bottle near her mouth! We introduced the bottle 1-2 times a week from 4w old just as we did with DD1 and I thought she was doing fine! She would suck on it for 1-2 min, then want bm and once or twice she drank an oz.
DD1 took about 3 min to latch to the bottle for the first month of using one, but didn't mind using it (Tommee Tippee), but now I don't know what to do for DD2. We tried another kind of bottle-screaming. Do I go out and buy a few other kinds?? Could it be the formula (honestly no time to pump)? I will try and find time today to pump and see if it works better. Is she just being stubborn because she wants to breastfeed?
What are your experiences ladies?
Re: Bottle Rejection and returning to work! HELP!
You can try a couple of different types of bottles as well.
No experience with this, I am just guessing! So sorry. I did find pumping faster than nursing though. I set my guys up in their boppy and feed them from a bottle while I pump for 20 minutes. They would nurse for 45+ minutes some times.
Keep at it! Your baby will get it eventually.

LO will spend one day a week with the ILs, so I've decided my first two weeks when I go back just 2 days I'll send her to daycare since they are used to getting babies on the bottle. Once she's done 6 days of bottles at daycare hopefully it won't be a problem at the ILs.
Good luck!
That said, DD doesn't like bottles. She will not take one from me. She won't take one if I'm near. When I'm at work, she well only take enough from a bottle to get her through. And even then, it's only because she knows it's her only option
DD took a bottle shortly after birth because she was in the special care nursery and then experienced nipple confusion. It was a horrible, stressful time because I really wanted to BF and she struggled so much. After a week of eliminating the pacifier/bottle, she finally got the hang of BF! We tried to reintroduce the pacifier around 4 weeks - she never would take it. We started at 6.5 weeks to reintroduce the bottle...she is now 8.5 weeks and still WILL NOT take the dang thing. We try at least once a day, both my husband and myself, and it's a frustrating screaming match. She will scream and gag, or she will sit there with her mouth wide open or chew on it. We have tried everything! Several bottles/nipples, different positions, rooms, switching while BF, making her hungry. Nothing is working. The closest success we have had is using the little cup thing they gave us at the hospital - but with that she gets more down her shirt than in her mouth and drinks sooo fast. But, I guess at least its a method for when she starts daycare in a couple weeks. I feel horrible - like I have to choose between feeding my kid or working. And working isn't an option
