c-section date scheduled!

I just got a call from my doctor's office that my repeat c-section date/doctor are now scheduled.

My EDD is August 14th, but they said I could schedule it a week early. So, it'll be August 7th.

It's kind of surreal that I know what her birth date will be ... that is, unless I go into labor before then!

Anyone else have their c-section scheduled yet?

I'm so jealous! My OB supposedly send the request to the hospital after my appointment last Monday, but I still haven't heard anything. I'm impatient and just emailed the office to find out how long this normally takes.

I requested August 5 (EDD August 8) and she said she'd include that in what she sent over to whoever schedules them at the hospital.

They called to schedule mine this morning. EDD 8/10. C-Section 8/4.

So apparently the OB I saw last week forgot to put in the order! The person who called me back to schedule it sounded mortified on the phone. But now it's scheduled for 10:30am on August 6!

We've got August 1, 7am. A RCS makes planning so much easier this time around. Watch her come early just to laugh at my planning...men plan, god laughs, right?

That's my sister's birthday!

I seriously hope #2 doesn't come early because DH's ship is underway until August 4!

Edd August 18th and scheduled c-section is august 14th, one day after our wedding anniversary.

By total coincidence, it's the 5 year anniversary, when DH and I met. I didn't even realize it till a week after we got the date. And we had plans that day. We always go back to the bar/restaurant where we met, and now we take our daughter and put her in the barstool.

Just had mine scheduled today for 38 weeks (August 4th) unless I go into labor sooner.

Yep! July 30th unless I go into labor before that then I will do another vbac. Based on my history my dr doesn't think I'll make it to the 30th. My dd was August 2.

July 29th! It's a tentative induction though---it all depends on the girls positioning and sizes. It will more than likely be a C-Section. We'll see!

Aug 18 or 19. Those are his days in surgery but it's not on the books yet. Excited! I'm jealous some of you will have a baby next month!!

EDD 8/30 RCS 8/25 12pm... It's the first grade of 1st grade for my little girl so at least I'll be able to take her before going in to have her brother... Was a little sad about this for a while but now I'm excited

EDD is 8/10, and I just scheduled yesterday for 8/13. I know I'm probably one of the only ones waiting until after, but it was when my fave OB is on and it happens to be my dads bday and the later I go, the more days into the school year I'll have off :-) my first two were more than a week after...watch this one break the tradition!

My EDD is Aug 20th and my daughter's first day of preschool is Aug 25th. I was worried I was going to miss it. But as mentioned above, I now have a scheduled c-section on July 30th due to previa.

My EDD is Aug 5, my doctor predicted they might induced the baby end of July. She said it is still too early to predict now. How did you guys find about c section so early?

I had an emergency c-section with my daughter, and was given the choice of repeat c-section or trying a VBAC.
After much thought, I chose the repeat c-section.
The hospital that I am delivering at will only schedule a c-section 1 week before the EDD (unless there was an issue, of course). So, my repeat c-section is scheduled exactly 1 week before the EDD.

I said no thank you to a VBAC.
