DD has finally discovered her diaper area! She tends to scratch her thighs and all over every time I take her diaper off, even in the bath she'll scratch/ punch her whole diaper area. I know they're getting older and more curious now and I'm sure it gets a little itchy having a moist diaper on all day but I'm kind of worried about her hurting herself. Is this possible? She's pretty aggressive when it comes to pinching and clawing.

Anyone else LO's discovering new body parts?!

    Ouch is right! Is he persistent to keep grabbing? My LO will not stop! She's so fierce too I'm afraid she'll draw blood.

    DS too. I keep baby washcloths on the changing table to distract him (put over his eyes) so he grabs those instead. He is also aggressive I even asked the dr about it but she just said it was normal. If I move his hands away he yells at me. The washcloths help though :)

    That's a good idea to plop the wash cloth over the eyes.. I try to distract with toys and her comb etc but she just throws them away lately.

    Yup. My H comes up to me the other day and says "I just had my first really awkward Daddy moment.....my daughter grabbed her vagina...right infront of me..she just cupped it like it was nothing".

    LOL we are at the same stage and DD likes to smack it.  I just give her something to play with during diaper changes.
