Monday randoms

My husband decided we need air conditioning. So I am here with two kids confined to the upstairs while they install it. Plus I can't leave, I have stuff I would like to do. Just a pity post.

After H is done work we are off to his work related dinner. My mom is looking after both kiddos.

AC is awesome but sucks that you are stuck upstairs! I wish we could get central installed in our house, but its an old house and several HVAC guys have said the way our duct system is set up, it would never reach the 2nd floor. So we have window units all over the place. Does the job, but they are loud and annoying because my DH is cheap and won't replace some of his older units.

For my random tidbit, I boiled and pureed some sweet potatoes today for DD. I have never liked sweet potatoes...or so I thought. I decided as a kid I hated them and would never eat them, but I took a lick of them today and realized that they are freaking delicious! Can't believe I missed out on such a good food for so many years.

We're flying home today after visiting MIL. Not bad flights but a layover and it'll take about 6 hours. DD is usually a pretty happy go lucky baby but this morning she's being super fussy. I'm dreading today. Eta: have fun at dinner!

It was motn and I decided to change DD's diaper in bed with the absorbent pee pad under her just in case she pisses in between diapers. Well, she pissed while rolling over before I could put on the new diaper. It looked like a rainbow and landed all over my blanket. Thanks DD. If SO tells me one more time that its easy being a mom especially since I sah, I'm gonna run him over with our truck.

I wish DD was as laid back as DS was. I hope she's not as annoying of a toddler as he is though! I can't have it all????

I feel bad that my dog rarely gets attention.

I wish DD liked the pacifier more bc her one finger looks like a meat grinder got to it. I can only take her fingers out of her mouth so much.

Why is it if one child sleeps well at night, the other doesn't??? H and I haven't had a full night sleep in forever. I hate life when I'm tired.

DS does this new random scream thing (testing out his vocal chords?) and it's so annoying. He'll just let out a scream randomly then act like nothing happened.

DD finally belly laughed a few days ago and it was awesome.

I'm still waiting for an appointment with a GI specialist for her reflux, and I hope that they call soon because I hate seeing my poor baby in pain.

We went shopping this morning to get a gift for a friends baby, and a few things for DD. It was a nice little outing.

I am so annoyed with DH right now. He slept in his recliner all day yesterday while I was up at 4:30 am. I took care of DD and the dog, bought some groceries, did the dishes, did 4 loads of laundry, finished my school work for the week, and made dinner. I'm not even sure that he understands that I'm angry.

so, DD has started trying to suck her thumb/fingers WHILE breastfeeding. All. The. Time. I have to physically restrain her hands while feeding her or else they crawl up in there and then she gets mad she cant feed properly.

This is DS when he sees his bottle insight. It's crazy how big his eyes get and moving his arms around like he hasn't been fed in years. He actually fed and held the bottle himself, well towards the end we had to tip it up, too cute!!

This is us too. She thinks those darn hands are so tasty.

Diaper changes have become increasingly harder as J loves her toes. Soon the chAnge table will be obsolete and it will be wwe on the floor for diaper changes

Just got back from taking DD to the doctor. She has all the signs of a UTI so they had to do a catheter. It came back negative. No uti, no yeast infection no vaginitis. This is all good and believe me I'm happy about it, but they don't know what's wrong. I can't get her to eat anything except icees.
