We tried to do the bubblegum idea, too. We went up to my cabin overlooking Lake Superior the weekend after we found out, so we thought the lake would be perfect for a back drop, but the gum was so stiff we couldn't blow bubbles. The pink also faded completely, so we ditched the idea and just posed with our cupcakes that we brought for my relatives to bite into!

We announced after getting Panorama results but didn't do a gender reveal picture...I just wrote in my comments that it was a girl.

Turns out DH had blue gum all along on his nightstand... and after I'd purchased like 15 kinds too! I know his is 5 gum.

These are so great! We filmed about 5 seconds of DS saying "It's a boy" and posted it on Instagram. It took about a hundred tries but he eventually said it to the camera!

I haven't yet announced to everyone what I'm having. I found out from the panorama test at 11 weeks that it's a girl, but I haven't yet seen on an ultrasound. I know the panorama test is 99.9% accurate, but I'm a "see it to believe it" kind of person. I have an ultrasound this afternoon as a follow-up from the 20 week a/s where she wasn't very cooperative. I'm hoping to see the "girl parts" on the ultrasound today and then make an official announcement.

We had so many ideas in mind, but we're too excited to wait on any of them! DH and I even planned to find out the sex at the gender reveal, but as many of you know it's super hard not finding out during the scan. Anyway we are so excited to be team blue and to welcome our little all-star at the end of October!
