Hi ladies. Those of us with outside squishes are in the midst of the overwhelming change that come with having a new baby at one, be it your first or fourth. The support on this group is amazing, so most of is post the problematic issues. What say we post the happy, east, funny, loving moments somewhere, too? That way those who still have inside babies can see the positives. Not that they don't know them, but as a chance to see it's not all scary.

I love watching dh with new babies. He claims to enjoy them more as they get older, but he's so good with helping them sleep and making silly noises and faces at them. Seriously cute. Charlie is full of sleepy smiles right now and I cannot get enough of them! He's getting bigger every day in ways that we can see. Focusing his sight more, picking up his head, reacting to voices, and having to change the Velcro settings on his diapers. Boy is going to be a butterball like his big sister was. The poops are hysterical. He makes little yipping noises in his sleep like a puppy and they make me giggle. He totally side eyed me tonight when he was eating and I laughed at his sister, he did not appreciate the way his dinner jiggled!

I'm with @Lilygrace48‌ - seeing DF with our baby is amazing. He has the cutest voice for when he talks with him and will have full conversations. It makes me love him even more.

DD makes the greatest faces! She will scrunch her eyebrows and frown at you. She will smile. She looks shocked half the time. The different expressions crack me up. Her "I just ate my weight in boobie" face is hilarious. So peaceful and happy. She also lets out burps and farts like a middle aged beer drinker. How something so loud can come out of something so small amazes me. The snuggles make the late nights worth it. I have a 10 day old baby and could not imagine my life without her now. She is my world.

My baby is four weeks old, and how the time has passed! I got my first smile yesterday. I love the faces he makes while he is sleeping, there's some serious business going on in there. He is a very loud eater and he takes his booby eating very seriously. I love that he is such a good eater and how he grabs my pinky while he eats... He loves to sleep with his hands on his face. I love the snuggles while burping and how he buries his face in my neck... Being a mom is truly the most amazing experience I will ever have.

It's all awesome. Besides the fact that you'll be on a new mommy high and just want to snuggle your baby all day, all the crappy pregnancy stuff magically goes away after birth! Heartburn? Insomnia? Cankles? Feeling like you can't breath? Being able to pee only a little bit at a time? Poof. Gone.

I love the way she sleeps with both arms stretched above her head. She looks so peaceful. It's funny how excited dh and I would get the first few days when she would dirty a diaper. She didn't make too many in the hospital and barely met the minimum. I love how dh wants to read to her every night.

I love to see how calm and comfy DS is in DD1's arms. She's so obsessed with him she wants to hold him all the time!
The little noises he makes when he's BFing, his milky face when he falls asleep on the boob. I sing m m m m m m ma mil ky face ma mil mil ky face to the tune of lady gaga's poker face lol.
Then his umbilical cord came off yesterday and I was saying um bili um bili um bili to the tune of lil Wayne's a milli every time I looked at his belly button.
He sounds like a frog when he had the hiccups and when he poops he stretches both of his legs which is really cute since he keeps his legs in the fetal position mostly from being breech in my belly for so long.
His little yawns and the way his eyes cross when he's trying to see what's in front of him.
I could go on forever but I'll post some pics. I already posted these on the PGAL board.

The way that little one just stares into mommy and daddy's eyes, like she is thinking "I know you but now I can see you." Is just a great feeling. Also, all the snuggles. I love family snuggle time, with me, dh, both kids and the dog.
Watching ds give his little sister a kiss goodnight melts my heart.
Also, the dog now really warmed up to dd. at first he didn't really bother with her but now he lays beside her swing and watches her. He brings his bone over and sets up camp, it's so sweet.

@lest12‌ it was something said on a thread last night, though I don't remember which one. Ladies getting nervous because of all the questions and tears over the nursing and such. I figured even those of usbwoth outside babies could use a reminder that while it is hard, it's not all bad

There is the most amazing sense of peace and wholeness when she is snuggling with me. Last night I got my first hug snuggle and it was so perfect!
We've started saying she's part gremlin because of the sounds she makes sometimes. She makes us laugh constantly. She likes to mess with us by either peeing or pooping on changing table, in pediatrician's office, as soon as we put a fresh diaper on her...
Dressing her up in cute little outfits is so much fun too! We couldn't stop grinning like a couple of fools over her outfit yesterday! Would include pic of it but it's refusing to upload.
And those cheeks! !! Hardest thing ever but also the most rewarding!!!

Seriously it's not all bad! It's a lot of fun the majority of the time. (I type this as baby V just let out a huge poo after I JUST changed her diaper lol)

And I second... baby stuff everywhere yo. My living room currently has 2 RnPs, a changing table, a swing and a PnP. Immediately upon getting home from the hospital it's like BRU threw up in here.

DD makes this hysterical sponge bob like laugh in her sleep All The Time. It is the cutest thing ever! I love our snuggle time after feedings. She is so cute I rarely let her sleep in her bed and just hold her. She Loves to stretch out, her legs are always out with her feet curled in. When she is consentrating (on suction durning feedings or pooping) her legs will slowly start lifting into the air while stretched out. And she always has the most "unsure" expression on her face. Too cute. Edit: this iPad hates adding pictures ... And they were cute ones

I can never get enough of the snuggles, tiny grunts, and baby yawns! Aside from being covered in some kind of baby fluid daily (spit up, pee, or even poop) being a mom is seriously the coolest experience ever!

1st pic... I love how she likes to sleep in the exact same position I do with her little hands under her head!

I love just looking at how perfect she is. I can't believe we made such a perfect little baby. I love watching her grow, and all the little faces she makes, and the noises she makes. The first few weeks are the hardest but they are so worth it.

Being a new mom is definitely hard work, but it's worth every second. I love my snuggle time, I absolutely swoon seeing DH with her, and she already cracks us up with her little faces and noises.

DD slept like this for almost an hour while I was holding her.

I love being a mom. I can't get enough of it. My mom says I have totally changed. For the good. I am calmer more patient and let the small stuff go. I'm known for being a drama queen. I own it well!! Lol

I love hearing that I'm a good mom too. Knowing the cue of what baby needs. A cry for hungry or a burp cry vs gas or I'm lonely cry. Plus how to sooth baby. Not always but better then SO. Being the one she turns her head too. The one she loves to lay with and sleep on. Knowing my smell makes her comfy. Even if I have not showered that day. Getting those almost smiles are now just amazing.
Seeing my SO talk to her. Call her daddy's precious lil girl. It totally makes up for those long nights.
