Up and at 'em! Monday workout thread

So, after a night of constant texts and phone calls from three unknown numbers that totally freaked me out since dh wasn't home, then ds waking up 3 (!!!!!) times last night, I still managed to get up and workout. Done. I may be going to bed at 8:00 with the baby tonight.

How is everyone starting off their week?

    I got up much earlier than usual but have a bunch of stuff to prepare to submit to Obamacare via overnight mail (because that website is still not frickin' working. There is no "submit" button for uploaded documents. It has been 6 months since this thing launched WTH??). This makes me sound grumpy, but the bright side is I am going to knock off work early to run around a track a few times before dinner. 

    I need to add some weight lifting to my routine. I have no cash, so it will have to plio -based. Hoping to find some ideas in the posts on this thread.

  • No rigorous morning workouts for me, but I did ok over the weekend. Not great, but ok. Hoping to do some more challenging stuff tonight, but that really depends on my energy level.

  • We've started sleeping with the blinds open- something about waking up with your natural sleep cycle? It works.
    I'm actually going to exercise before starting my day so thanks for the motivation!

  • My plan for the day is to walk 2 miles at lunch and then a yoga video after the girls are in bed tonight.

    The baby has slept pretty well the last few nights. Hoping this keeps up so I can start getting my energy back and working out consistently again!

    Congrats on the race! It's always an awesome feeling when you finish better than you thought you would.
  • I didn't work out this weekend and ate terribly. MH Opa passed away on Friday morning and it was a tough weekend so our eating was way off. I will go for a run today at lunch!
  • I will try and make a point to harass you to make sure you are getting your Am workouts in @ThisIsBrea‌. If it helps :)

  • I got to the gym late but worked on my legs the whole time. It was pretty good. I wanted to run when I got home but it's gonna storm.

  • I haven't done much since Sunday. I did polish off a huge piece of chocolate cake. What? It was GOOD.

  • I did not workout this morning because my kid won't sleep.  Ho-hum.  It really put me in a bit of a funk, so I made DH give me a quickie before work, while we passed each other like ships in the night as he got home from work just in time for me to leave.  That 7 minutes counts as cardio, right?

    Eating has been good.  Made a crockpot of spaghetti squash and turkey meatballs yesterday, which is becoming a favorite.
