Things LO is scared of

I know by now our LOs are probably getting scared or startled by random things. Mine is currently incredibly scared of the vacuum, making that a difficult task when I see this face! It doesn't matter where I put him, even another room, it freaks him out! What random things are your LOs afraid of?

Bald men and black dogs. Very unfortunate for my FIL as he is bald and she screams her face off if he even looks at her. It's sad.

Nothing that I have noticed yet. He attacks all animals and wants to touch (or most likely chew on) them. I am sure something will scare him eventually.

When in public bathrooms and someone uses the hand dryer she freaks. She is also screams when her grandpa looks at her somedays.. Not sure what it is.

Hair dryer and hand dryer. Any loud noises really. She's been crying when I put on Netflix to watch Orange is the new black. The theme song comes on really loud every time.

cats. She hates them...she loves dogs but I think she's scared of cats because they like to stalk and glare..I don't blame her

I just discovered he does not like the hair dryer.

Also, I sneezed once and he started to cry.

My baby is fearless. DH likes to try and scare her and so now it's a game. She'll be startled the first time and then after that, it's just funny. I'm okay with it, I have too many fears and I don't want her to be afraid of things.

Not sure if he was scared or the sound just hurt, but he's cried twice: once during a parade when the fire trucks blasted their sirens and another time when our dog yelped really loudly right next to him. Other than that, he's fearless.

DS was terrified of our vacuum and what helped was getting a toy vacuum for him to play with and explore! We had an old ass family one (my 40 yr old uncle played with it when he was a kid), but they still sell them!

Not a thing! He loves the vacuum and the blow dryer, cats and dogs, water and the stairs. Anything loud he laughs at. He gets startled easily but then everything is funny again after the first little scare.

So far the only thing that has scared him was being in an elevator. We started singing to him while we were in them and now he doesn't cry he just holds on to me really tight.

She loves the vacuum. The only thing I can think of that scares her is having her face washed or water poured over her head. She has an irrational fear of drowning.

The only thing he has been afraid of so far is water coming out of the faucet in the bath tub. He loves to sit and splash, but if I turn the water on, he will crawl up the sides of the tub and grab at me for dear life. The faucet at our old place had a lot of pressure and was really loud though. At our new place, he hasn't done that.

He recently hates the vacuum. He also was pretty scared a couple weeks ago of my boyfriend's grandmother-first time he has done that with a person, and of course she freaked out). He also gets severely upset if I tell him no if he is grabbing something (not sure if he is scared or just gets upset that he is in "trouble").
