I found out today that DS has moved out of the head down position he was in lat week and is now transverse. I saw my chiropractor today to perform the Webster method, and I did some exercises from the spinning babies website and I can already tell he has moved. I can't tell if he is head down, but I'm hoping it works! My Dr. Wants to do a manual turn on Monday if he hasn't turned yet, but at 37 weeks, I just think that's too early and I'm going to refuse. If you have a chiro, I would try that! Good luck!
@AnnaMPAdams mine was head down and has since turned transverse as well. Been doing spinning babies for at least a week but he hasn't budged. Wishing you luck!
I have heard of breech babies born vaginally, it can be done if you're super against having a c-section. It's much harder and more painful, but it can be done....
I'm still breech as well. If she's not turned soon I'm going to do everything I can to get scheduled at the end of 39 weeks and not the beginning. I'm hoping I don't end up at odds with my OB Even though the changes get lower, I want every extra day I can get for her to possibly turn!

Thanks! The chiro seemed to help a little. I went this morning for an US and he's a little more downward than he was. His head is now right near my left hip and he is facing my spine so I think there is still a chance! I hope your LO does some moving for you soon!
My little one was breech for weeks (28-36.5) and after 3 or 4 visits to the Chiro and doing the cat/cow stretch (if that's what it's called?) he flipped from complete breech to head down... He's popped back up to a more oblique position at this time but still close enough they consider him head down.
My midwife offered a version (manual turning) but wouldn't do it until 39 weeks so we were ready to have to go that route if the Chiro Webster technique didn't work.
Also, a generalized statement such as they don't turn this late is crap... My torso is very long and my baby still has a ton of room to move and flip... It's all about your particular body shape... At least that's what I've been told. One more thing all 4 of my aunts babies were flipped from breech to head down during labor. It can be done

This makes me feel SO much better about telling my dr. No to a manual version tomorrow at 37 +3 days. I'm 5'10" and he is still flipping like crazy so I was afraid that even if we did let her turn him, he would just come right back out of head-down position. Also, I've read that a lot of physicians will go ahead and induce right after doing the version to prevent the baby from moving back to an unfavorable position and I'd rather not do that if it isn't medically necessary!
Yes yes yes! I love these ladies who are suggesting the Webster Turning Technique! Please PLEASE go to a chiropractor who is certified in the technique. It's non-invasive and there are FANTASTIC results in turning the baby.
*Both my mom & step-dad are chiropractors - both certified in the Webster Turning Technique and have never failed in turning a breeched baby.*

@bewilderingstar how many times performing the technique would they say is average? I'm going back tomorrow for my second time, and immediately heading to my OB for an ultrasound to check.
It can take several times. My step dad actually turned a baby while the mom was in the early stages of labor.
A lot of people give up after a couple of visits, they need to stick with a treatment plan the chiro doc gives them. If they stick with the treatment plan, the baby will for sure turn.

Went back today, and he's turned! 2 times was all it took. If anybody else is in the same boat, I'd highly recommend trying this technique before any other medical intervention!
