Keurig people help me!

I never cleaned my Keurig. I figured I should. I used white vinegar. It still reaks. I followed the directions on the keurig website. Do I need to run more than one tank of water through? Soap out the water tank?
Please tell me it isn't ruined.

  • Oh hai! I'm just impressed that you have time to clean your keurig. I haven't cleaned the downstairs bathroom in so long there's a ring around the toilet. ;-)

  • Thanks everyone. I washed the tank with soap and ran two more tanks of clean water through. It seems to have worked. Thank goodness. I'd die without coffee.

  • I used to sell them when I worked at Dillards.

You need to run a few more cycles thru at the hottest temp it goes clean the insides with just water. Never put soap and water thru the machine.
The tank itself can be cleaned with soap and water but pull out the filter/cartridge (depending on the model you have). Those filter/cartridges need to be replaced like your A/C units filters if you use your machine A LOT.
