type 1 diabetes with pregnancy in Humboldt County CA

Ive been diabetic for about 16 yrs and i just found out im going to have a baby. I was wondering if anyone else has been in this situation. I cant work now bc of my health taking up 24/7...so what do i do from here? Housing/food? Any pointers is greatly appreciated. Thanks Newbie Aj

    Am thinking you'd be applying for disability thrpugh the state. WIC is probably another resource which coupd help with food - link: www.fns.usda.gov/wic/who-gets-wic-and-how-apply

    Maybe contact you local social services or ask at your drs office about support services that are out there. Maybe a local women'a health clinic would have resources to refer you to.
