We are thinking about implementing an 11pm. LO has been waking up at 12, 4 and 6 for the past 3 weeks after previously STTN (8pm-3am, up for the day at 6).
I don't think it could hurt...well unless your LO is easily woken? I've had to do this on a few red eye plan rides recently and it worked like a charm. 7hr flight, just popped my boob in prevent her from waking up to eat later and she ate and didn't wake up at all later. Obviously a different situation for you but it's worth a shot.
@allypittsburgh he has never truly dropped the 3am feed except for a few random nights. This new midnight thing is what got us looking into alternative routines. TBH part of it is my DH looking for logic to help baby sleep.
I'm considering this myself. A lot of what I've read in sleep resources says babies 5-6 months may still wake up once to eat MOTN. DD is a tiny one and getting up once to do a feed isn't a big deal to me. Like you, we're experiencing some more frequent wake ups and getting rid of that would be nice. I could so handle the 1:45 and 5:45 wake ups that we used to have.

I tried for the first time the other day and it was a total failure. He had previously slept from 8pm to 4am, so I thought maybe if I dreamfed him at about 11 he might sleep through until 6ish. Nope - he woke up EARLIER (at 2). I think it woke him up too much and he never got back into a deep sleep.
Re: Dream feed?
It seems to help drop a feed, although maybe your LO is going through a growth spurt, wouldn't hurt to try it.
LO goes to bed at 7ish, we dream feed about 10 or 11, then he sleeps until 6am. Woo-hoo!
Note: we have also increased the amount he eats during the day, so both actions probably contribute to all the sleep!
