second baby fever?!

DD just turned one may 25. My first inital thought was to be one and done but DH has suggested that he would like another. And now I think I have caught the bug for a second. Is this normal after the first baby turns one? Now I can't stop thinking about having another!

    Right after DD turned one I went through a major bout of baby fever. She's now 18 months and I'm glad I held off. She's starting to get interesting now..her little personality is coming out.

    Don't get me wrong, I want another baby still but I'm glad I'm not pregnant right now. Maybe next year.

    DH's baby fever struck as soon as DS turned one.  Our state laws regarding high-risk pregnancy after a c-section allowed me to catch up before it was even advisable for us to start trying again (REALLY hoping I'm not pregnant this cycle - it's the last "high risk" one.)  I'm looking forward to number two now.  Mostly.  Was sick last night, and reminded of how horrid morning sickness + toddler sounds.  

    I hope I'm done with my commission work by then.

    I started having baby fever when DD was about 10 mos.  DH and I discussed things and talked about starting to try when she was about 15 or 16 mos.  I found out I was pregnant 1 week before DD's first birthday.  

    I think it's normal to get baby fever when your LO passes milestones and marks because you are thinking of the ones that have already passed.  And once kids start walking and are really on the go they tend to be less cuddly.  But if you think you are ready then go for it.  Two close in age isn't easy but it's a lot of fun.
