I stained furniture

Soooo... I knew I shouldn't but thought it was more like the degree of painting the baby room... Not encouraged but keep space well ventilated, take breaks... So I we brought the chest outside so it was very well ventilated and I used gloves but didn't wear a mask. It was probably @ 2 hours total and I took breaks. Did I make a huge mistake? I'm now regretting and worried. I'm going to mention it to my doctor but thought I would get your perspective too and leave the rest of the projects to the hubby

Next time, wear a mask.

I doubt it was enough to cause harm. Hopefully your doctor can provide some reassurance.

Outside I wouldn't worry about it. Not like you were huffing fumes.

Unless you're wearing a true respirator, a simple white mask won't keep all fumes out anyway. If you were outside, my opinion is that it's not an issue...I've been painting and staining up a storm lately.

I was hoping there was a picture of the finished product! I applaud all of you for painting and staining. And well doing projects in general. I feel like a slug!

If you were outside, that's the most ventilation you can get. I wouldn't worry one bit about it.
