I'm about 6-7 weeks pregnant from conception and 8 clearblue tests later, it's STILL reading 2-3 weeks. I took the first one 2 weeks ago. Im having really bad anxiety. Did any of you have an experience like this, and everything turned out fine? I know the tests are crap but I'm still concerned why my hcg level isn't over 2000 yet. This is my second child and I've had no symptoms of m/c. Just looking for someone who had a similar experience with a positive outcome. Thank you <3

Those tests mean very little. When is your first OB or midwife appointment? That will put your mind at ease. Stop testing! Those tests won't tell you a thing about the health of your pregnancy and will only waste your money and cause you stress.

  • Thank you for your feedback. I had them bump my appointment to Monday. I was planning on telling family this weekend for Father's Day but now I'm too paranoid. Going to be a lonnnnng weekend.
  • I wouldn't worry too much, I've seen a few posts about this since the dating tests became popular and they all seemed to indicate that the dating feature is not very accurate. I know it's hard not to stress though, I hope you get some reassurance at your appointment!

  • Don't worry.  HCG levels vary for each person.  My first beta draw (measures HCG) registered for 45.1.  My numbers were consistently on the lower end of the spectrum and I worried, but I'm 14 weeks along today.
Married on October 20, 2012.  Began trying in January 2013.
RE appointment & testing December 2013 - February 2014= Unexplained IF, possible endometriosis
IUI#1- March 22 (100mg clomid, 75 mg of Bravelle, Ovidrel trigger) = BFP!!!

  • Put the tests down and wait for your appointment. Try not to worry, I know it's hard.

Stop testing and stop posting on every board, one is plenty.. Most of us read all of them.

But those test are notorious for not being accurate on "weeks" past ovulation
