    Updates: Not much this week!

How are you feeling? Just really anxious about DH being gone for a month until just before my EDD. I'm just praying LO doesn't try to make an appearance before the 20th of July.

QOTW: Do you/did you have any strong food aversions this pregnancy? How about any cravings you can't get enough of? This pregnancy I had a big aversion to coffee in 1st tri, it got better in 2nd tri, but now it doesn't appeal to me again much. Also, vegetables were hard to choke down for awhile. For cravings...cheeseburgers and ICE CREAM. I eat ice cream almost every night. I need the calcium, right? ;)

Updates: My CVS testing didn't happen.  My uterus is titled backward and one placenta is on the back wall, so inaccessible.  The other placenta was accessible, but too thin.  I have another appointment in 3 weeks.  3 really long weeks!

How are you feeling? Blah, exhausted, my m/s is getting worse and I'm having vertigo attacks more often.  Too much stress on top of being pregnant, so it's just not going well these days.

QOTW: Do you/did you have any strong food aversions this pregnancy? How about any cravings you can't get enough of?  Aversions?  Fruit and veggies.  All I want are carbs and red meat!

  • Good morning ladies!

@lealupins - 34 weeks - wow!  Congratulations.  You are getting so close.  Hopefully your little one will stay put while YH is away.  I'd be anxious, too.

@shayna0408 - I am right there with the migraines (mine are coupled with muscle spasms in my neck and back).  It sucks.

    Week/fruit/EDD: 12/plum/ Dec. 26

    Team: Green ... so far.

Updates: We are telling our parents this weekend.  I am nervous but also glad not to have to hide things anymore.  Told my boss last week since I'm high risk and I need to miss work frequently for OB/MFM and now hematologist appointments.  We are going to tell extended family, close friends, and work more generally after my sequential screening next week.  I'm too paranoid to say anything until those tests are done.

How are you feeling? Up and down.  The MS is definitely easing up.  I'm still terribly anemic so I'm exhausted a lot.  I've been having migraines and muscle spams.  Not being able to take something for the pain is a challenge.  Emotionally I am exhausted, having a hard time getting work done (trying so, so hard though!) and my long commute is difficult with my fatigue.  Hoping I get that 2T "energy burst" people talk about, and soon!

QOTW: Do you/did you have any strong food aversions this pregnancy? How about any cravings you can't get enough of?  Yes - chicken, salmon, and blueberries in particular are on the no-no list.  For a while, water was hard to drink but that's subsided, thankfully.  I have found I like sweets less, too.  That one's kind of a blessing if you ask me.  Carbs have been my go to - any type of noodle, anything wrapped in a tortilla, and pasta of course.  Also, I am liking everything spicy these days.  :)

  • @happyin14 - make a smoothie with watermelon as the liquid ingredient.  You will die of deliciousness.  Yesterday mine was about a cup of watermelon (scooped out of the rind using an ice cream scooper .. I am lazy as well), half an orange, chia seeds, a carrot and a half cup of yogurt.  It was awesome.

Before being KU I learned you can stick an entire watermelon (the fruit not the rind) in a blender by itself and it will liquefy into a delicious cocktail.  My old recipe that I would use for a backyard BBQ was one whole watermelon, half a gallon of limeade, and a bottle of watermelon vodka, blended and served over ice.  Eliminate the last part and I will be drinking that alllll summer.  ;)

Updates: We had our viability scan yesterday and we have 1 baby, measuring 1 day behind with a hb of 142!! Of course I had breakdown on the way home because I was so relieved. I have never seen that little flicker on the screen before which was amazing, and since my EDD is only 3 weeks behind my last one (different year) I have been having this weird case of déjà-vu since my BFP. I was nervous of the possibility of multiples like last time because if it was the similarities might have been enough to push me over the PGAL edge.
I went through the same thing with super high betas really early.  What a sigh of relief, right?

Updates: Just plugging along. I had someone ask me "What, no baby yet?" I told her I still had two months left! Welcome to third-trimester hugeness, I guess. :)

I have more gear now. The crib mattress and mattress pad arrived yesterday. The crib should be here in a couple of days. I bought a changing table second-hand yesterday. We received a FREE jogging stroller from one of DH's friends (major score!), I have a Boppy, etc. Feeling more prepared.

How are you feeling? I feel pretty good. A little sleepy, but it's not overwhelming.

QOTW: Do you/did you have any strong food aversions this pregnancy? How about any cravings you can't get enough of? Butter has tasted rancid this whole pregnancy. I have been craving sweets way more than usual. I am usually a cheese-and-crackers kind of gal, but all I want these days is cookies, brownies, cakes... :-D Fortunately, I am indulging in small doses and not packing on too much weight.

Such a relief! I keep trying to convince myself "This pregnancy is not like my last" but things keep lining up so perfectly it FEELS the same. At least now I can believe it IS different.
