So I have three Flip covers that I bought at a seconds sale. They are hook and loop. I'm converting them to snaps. This isn't the issue.
The elastic isn't very snug. Also, the edging is getting worn (no holes, but definitely thinning).
I'd like to add a new layer to them, similar to Best Bottoms. How do I achieve this? And what product would I use?
The three covers are not in the best shape, I wouldn't even sell them. So if I destroy them testing this out, it's not a big deal.

As far as the casing...I don't know what that is. I thought it was bias tape, but I guess that stuff wicks moisture
I'm looking to add a new layer to my Flips similar to best bottoms. In the case below, it would be the white edge. What is that edging called?
