I used to be a really big wine drinker, love it! But, now it doesn't seem worth it to me. I just had 2 big glasses and got a nice buzz for all of 15 minutes. Now, I have to pee and I have a headache.
And if DS did what he did last night, I'll be up with him in 3 hours.

Man how times have changed!! How do you other mommas enjoy getting your drink on with the LO's around?

Enjoying a glass of wine right now watching some Bones with DH! I usually just drink after DD is asleep. If we go to a bonfire, I'll have a Mikes or a beer just after DD eats, so I'm good to feed her again once she's hungry.

I've only gotten drunk on once since DD's birth, in which DH feed/changed DD before bed. Haven't had enough to get a headache or hungover yet.

I usually stick to one or two drinks so I can feed lo or pump not too long after, but dh and I did hit the wine trails a few saturdays ago. I pumped enough for the day and left lo with mil. it was fun!

PP - About the time I turned 30 I noticed that my alcohol tolerance dropped significantly. I used to be a wine with dinner/ a few beers on the weekend type but even that started leaving me groggy and sluggish the next day. For the most part I don't bother anymore. Besides with LO I'm already groggy and sluggish enough as it is.

I hate having to plan ahead with pumping or thawing milk plus dealing with engorgement then the possibility of pumping and dumping.

Drinking just makes me fall asleep and my supply takes a dip. In 14 weeks I've had 2 beers and 2 glasses of wine. That makes me sad

I was a big drinker but I daren't drink yet.

Usually have a glass of vino or two with DH once DD in bed. Haven't had enough for a hangover yet! Whilst I'm not too sure on LO's sleeping pattern (sometimes she'll go all night sometimes she won't!) I'm sticking to just enough that I don't mind dragging my ass outta bed in the small hours lol!!!

I have been having 1 beer a day for a couple weeks now. Usually while making dinner when my hubby gets home. I have started to want a second one but don't because I don't know how that will affect the little. And I don't want to deal with pump and dump.

I only have a drink or two on the weekends. I will have my drink right after I put LO to bed because I know she won't need to eat until she wakes up at 5am. I pumped and dumped once and it made me so sad because I don't want to waste my liquid gold!! I would rather breastfeed than get drunk.

I had 2 sips of wine and my face, neck and upperchest immediately broke out into a huge super itchy red rash.

Apparently, since giving birth to the babies, I am allergic to alcohol.

I had a chocolate martini the other night. Got a fantastic buzz...had mind blowing sex...slept like a baby.
Best night ever.

Wine tonight to dry out this cold I have. I missed alcohol! I don't drink a lot. But damn, I enjoy it!
