My sweet baby boy was born Wednesday afternoon. We've been so busy with him and trying to catch up on sleep that I've barely had time to Bump!

Anyway, DH and I went to the hospital early Wednesday morning for my scheduled induction. We got there about 6 a.m. and I was officially in labor by 7. My dr started with breaking my water then starting me on pitocin. I was 3 cm dilated at the beginning and seemed to progress a little slow. I have to say, I feel like I did a lot better dealing with contractions this time around, than I did with my first labor. DH was able to keep me calm a majority of the time that I was contracting. By the time I reached 5 or 6 cm, I asked for the epidural. It worked for the most part, the only area I could still feel pain in, was in the left side of my belly. That wasn't fun at all. By the time I hit 7 cm, I was starting to feel all my contractions, however I was still numb from the hips down. I was in so much pain

by 2:30 I had finally made it to 10 cm and was ready to push! A good 6 pushes later (about 15 min) DS2 was born! Everything happened so quick and I was SO tired (I didn't sleep at all before going to the hospital) a lot of the details are a little fuzzy!

But here he is!
Hunter Elisha (pronounced Elijah)

7 lbs 2.5 oz and 20 1/2 inches long!

*We also introduced Hunter to his big brother Bryson, and it couldn't have gone any better! It was definitely something I'll never forget, and look forward to telling them all about it when they're older
