Father's Day

So anyone have anything fun or cute planned for your DH/SO for Father's Day?

DD conceived after 3 years of ttc.
MFI - DH had varicocele repair and took Clomid to get DD b. 02/2010

TTC #2 since 6/2010
10/2012 DH diagnosed with Epilepsy
A few failed IUIs summer 2012 and 2013. 
DH taking clomid and waiting to see if he needs another vericocele repair. 
Hoping for a 2015 baby or babies. 
Wishing, hoping, waiting.

    No.  But I need to come up with something quick!  I need to do something for my dad!  I was thinking of making a basket of scones and yummy toppings for them.  I made some lemon curd last week that he really liked, so I think if can put some in a jar and give hime something to put it on, he'd like that.  For DH, I'm taking him and DS to the Aquarium, but I kind of want there to be something extra special to surprise him with. What are you doing?  I need a good idea or two!

    Started acupuncture while saving for IVF in Sept 2011
    Add herbal infusions to the mix in Dec 2011
    Hoping holistic approach works!!!

    Meepy Man born on Jan 2013 - Hip Hip Hurray!

    Ready to start ttc #2 April 2013, but plan to be an extended BF'er
    Back on metformin Aug 2013
    Restart herbal infusions Sept 2013 - currently drinking nettle, oatstraw, and red raspberry leaf
    DS weaned in April 2014
    Taking a break from herbs and just riding the healthy train.  
    Planning medicated cycle end of summer.  FX I get KU before then!!!

    Got him sauces and marinades and copper mugs and ginger beer. I think he is hoping for a grill... I know I have said that since his birthday last month, but there is going to be sad even though he won't admit it... I did Mommy and Me portraits back in March and then we did family pictures so my Dad is getting nice pictures for Father's Day and My Mom for her bday. We really don't do a lot anymore so this is a big deal lol. Oh, and working in little dd crafts for hubs too! :)

    Sooo, you know how when you both agreed to do Father's day for DH on Friday evening since Sat and Sun are taken up with grandpas and then you wake up Friday morning and realize, Holy crap it's Friday. Yeah.....

    I did drive to BFE to get him his special local made hot dogs (yum) and I'm making homemade buns. Got corn, chips and dip (which we never have) and s'more stuff. So we have our activity all planned but I need to think of some little project to do with DD for him.

    I will be 7dp5dt. Hoping to be able to give him good news (although I got a bfn today so I got him a case of beer and matching neckties for he and DS).

    ^FX @constancegoodspeed !   I did the D-A-D pics with K this year and got DH a cocktail shaker and booze. nothing fancy. i think we'll grill on the BBQ and keep it low key.

    BFP #4 2/18/14.  EDD 10/30/14... Ruptured ectopic with L tube removed & D&C 3/7/14.
    BFP #5 7/27/14.  EDD 4/9/15...  m/c @ 5w4d.

    IVF #1    Oct 2014 - antagonist protocol: 9R, 7M, 5F. 3dt of 3 Grade 2 embies. BFN. 
    IVF #2    Jan 2015 cancelled due to dominant follicle.  Converted to IUI #1. BFFN
    IVF #2.1 March 2015 cancelled due to dominant follicle.

    BFP #6  (SUPRISE!) 3/19/15.  EDD 11/30/15...  CP at 4w2d.
    IUI #2:    Clomid + Follistim = 3 follies. BFN.
    IVF #2.2 May 2015 - horrible response to micro lupron flare protocol: 3R, 3M, 3F. 3dt of 2 Grade 3 embies. BFFN. 

    BFP #7 (beyond surprised again!) 4/26/16. EDD 1/5/17. beautiful betas!!!! and then near-fatal hemorrhagic corpus luteum. turns out baby was ectopic after all; another lap 5/6 (@24dpo).

    Ha no. I should think of something but we don't make a big deal about holidays. I'll make him a nice brunch and DS made something at school.

    Yeah, but hubs isn't letting me drive anywhere- he thinks after transfer I do too much and even though I took it easy last time and didn't get ku'd he is adamant :( luckily... Doing all the alphabet stuff w DD I think I can work something out... Just need some D (whut?!?!?!? =)) )

    You guys are so good, doing the DAD pics again! I did them DHs 1st Father's Day, and he totally teared up. I tried the 2nd year but DS wasn't having it. I gave up after that. We still have the 1st year's hanging on the wall, though!

    I ended up buying a pack of plain wooden photo frames and letting DD paint them for Daddy and all 3 grandfathers (I come from a blended family) and the I interviewed DD about Daddy. Apparently he's 3 years old, his "fur" is brown, and his favorite food is cheese.
