6w ultrasound today- already crying updated

I am laying in bed watching the clock until it's time to leave for my 11:15 ultrasound appointment. I am on the verge of a full-fledged panic attack. I'm so scared of what I might learn today. Can you guys just keep me in your thoughts and prayers today? I need some good juju, even if it's just to help keep me calm.

I have never wished so hard for anything in my life as I'm wishing to see a healthy heartbeat thumping away today.

*UPDATE*************
Well, I just left my appointment. No heartbeat yet. They said everything is on track and where it's supposed to be for 5w5d. They want me to come back at 7 weeks to make sure they can see the heartbeat. I'm disappointed, but feel terrible for being disappointed. I should be grateful that everything looks good for now.

I just want to binge eat chipotle in bed and cry until the 23rd for my 7 week appointment.

Until then, here's my mantra: my love for this baby is greater than my fear.

I feel the same before appointments. Also I wasn't able to see a heartbeat until 7 weeks 2 days. Try not to worry. Thoughts and prayers to you.

((Hugs)) I'm sorry you didn't get to see more. It is dissapointing when it's too early to see the HB. I know it's hard, but take comfort in the fact that it's very normal not to see one this early. The HB usually doesn't start until early to mid 6 weeks. I hope you get to see a perfect little bean when you go back!

I completely understand how you feel and your mantra is PERFECT. I hope you do go get Chipotle and curl up with a good book or movie. FX time between now and your next appointment flies by and you get to see the HB then.

i love your mantra. it's perfectly normal to not see a HB yet, which is disappointing, of course! i say go ahead and eat chipotle. try to get out of bed a couple times though.

Your mantra made me cry.... Seriously. Fwiw- I had an u/s at 5w5d and there was only a sac. I was crushed. But I made it through 2 LONG weeks and at 7w5d I went back where they saw a growing little baby with a hb. I know how torturous the wait is, but just try to stay busy and keep repeating your mantra! ((Hugs))

Hang in there. First trimester is just as bad as it gets. Waiting and waiting and waiting and checking for blood every time you go to the bathroom, but it gets better on the 2nd and 3rd

. About the HB, well, at this point is really hard to see one. With one of my loss we didn't see one at 6 weeks and I thought again a mc....but we saw it at 8 weeks and it was perfect. We lost it later on but for other reasons totally unrelated (don't freak out!). It is pretty early. Just hang in there for another week and if everything looks fine, there should be a HB waiting for you to see it. I'll be hoping for that. Good luck.

I had my 1st u/s ay 5 weeks 4 day to ensure pregnancy was in the right place due to history of EP. My RE told me not to expect to see a heartbeat, that that was not the reason for the early u/s. I went back four days later and there was the heartbeat, most likely had just begun in the previous 24 hours.

FX the time flies between now and the 23rd! And you get some major fatigue and nausea to help ease your mind until then! I had several friends who told me that while I was pg w/DD that they would always pray for symptoms for me

I just wanted to update again- my boobs are killing me, I can hardly keep my eyes open, I'm queasy nonstop, and my head is throbbing. Looks like I got what I asked for! Hah! I thank you all for your advice and compassion.

YAY!!! DH gets so excited when I'm sick. I keep telling him that is getting old even after just 2 weeks. Congrats on your symptoms
