I have read some of your posts about Braxton Hicks and RLP, but as a first timer, I am wondering what does round ligament pain and Braxton Hicks contractions feel like?
Round ligament pain for me has been sharp pelvic pain, usually when I cough or sneeze. It's sharp pain, but not like cramping.
Braxton-Hicks felt like my belly tightening, but not painful like a true contraction. It's hard to know beforehand what it's going to be like and everyone is going to tell you that when you're in labor for real there is a huge difference and you'll know. I hated hearing that, but it was 100% correct.

Exactly this
Yup. This exactly. Most of the time I couldn't tell if I was having Braxton hicks contractions except that my belly was rock hard.
Also when I first started getting braxton hicks I thought that the baby was just pushing his bum out and stretching - took me a while to figure out what was actually happening!

This was totally me too1 i thought DD was just pushing outwards.
RLP sucked balls. it was like getting a sharp running cramp but more intense and sharp. I've never been shanked...but I imagine thats what being shanked would feel like. jk. not really.
