But what would you do if your LO had this all over their body? I only ask here bc the earliest I can get in to see the doctor is tomorrow afternoon. A nurse is supposed to be calling me but while I wait I'm asking here.

No fever tho she is crying with her "I'm in pain" cry. It is all over her body and on her thighs they are larger. Yes they are raised like bug bites.

Oh and I dropped her to daycare at 6am and by 7am they were calling me to get her. She didn't eat anything different and neither have I (nursing)

Yeah it looks like she got attacked by some mosquitos or some other bug? Poor girl hopefully she gets some relief soon.

I'd make sure they get her in today! If they don't call you back within an hour, I'd call again. Surely someone in they office can see you, it's not like it's closing time today. Especially since it's bothering her. Maybe you could send them the picture so they could see it too.

I called DH to tell him I picked LO up from daycare. He told me he gave her a new food last night . Now that I have that information I think it's an allergic reaction. Even tho she ate last night I see why a new food is told to be introduced over a few days bc of delayed reactions.

We do have pets but they are flea treated. Plus, we are bed sharing so I'd think that I'd have the bumps too?

what was the new food? was it eggs or something else allergic? I agree with others and push to get her seen today. The "in pain" cry would make me go to urgent care if for some reason my doc couldn't see me. Also, if my doc couldn't see me in an urgent situation I'd consider finding a new location. My pedi is always able to fit me in when I want him to be seen day of, even if it's just with a nurse or PA.

Achote on rice

I am a FTM and we are a military family being seen on base . I've been told if they're busy there isn't much else I can do. Apparently I am lucky to have gotten an appointment for tomorrow!

I was also told if I went to the ER I would just be told to go to the clinic that said to come back tomorrow

Personally I would try to find an urgent care or ER. If they haven't examined your daughter I don't see how over the phone they can tell you if you take her to the ER they will just send you to the clinic. I know how base health care is though, I grew up on several military bases and it can be like pulling teeth to get an appointment.

Thanks ladies. This is the last time DH feeds LO without checking with me to see if she's had it before. No, I'm not controlling.... I'm just her primary care giver.

Well, it got worse. When we woke up this am she had hives all over and her whole face was swollen. I just walked in to the doctors office and they escorted us straight to the ER . She is much better now have steroid and benedryl. I hated holding her down to take the medicine

Oh and now I have a fever, chills and body aches. I can't catch a break.

Yes it was an allergic reaction to rice. She's doing so much better now. This is a pic from this am:( I'm pleased with the results of walking into the clinic and being helped right away. No more phone calls for me !
