  @amwenz‌ I'm in a similar boat. I ended up in L&D last Thursday with abdominal pain- turns out I was having contractions every 2-3 mins. My FFN was negative and cervical length was 3.9.
  
  They sent me home (still contracting every 2 mins!) and I was back again on Tuesday night. This time the contractions were semi-painful and 2 mins apart so I was given terbutaline. Meds stopped contractions for a few hours but by Wednesday afternoon my cervix was measuring 2.6-2.9 which was a loss of at least 1cm in 5 days.
  
  They gave me 2 rounds of steroids for baby's lungs and last night's FFN was negative. I'm getting my cervix checked again this morning and I'm hoping there's no loss of length.
  
  I'm not in PTL but obvi they're concerned.
  
  I'm currently 30 weeks btw
  
  So sorry you're going through this but it's awesome you've made it this far!

  Thanks girls. This pregnancy is a lot tougher than I thought it would be. I'm sorry for the terbutaline....did you have as awful reaction as I did? Tremors and heart racing for 8 hrs. I said I wouldn't take it again. As for your water breaking @ck61 was it a gush of slow? I wish there wad a crystal ball to just tell me the date he/she will come so I can not worry or drive my husband more bananas.

  Started ttc may 2012 Me:32. Dh:31 SA- 4% morphology Fsh:9.1 possibly not always ovulating Hysteroscopy/lLap 7/13 resulted in polyp removal, uterine septum, and mild endo stage 1 removed 10/13 IVF #1 successful

  I thought there was a possibility of having a preterm baby but only because I thought I might need to be induced due to preeclampsia. I ended up going into labor naturally and having my LO at 35 weeks and 5 days. I woke up at 3 am with what I thought was just bad gas pain. When I woke up at 7 am with frequent pains, I suspected contractions. I thought they might be Braxton Hicks so I got up and took a shower. They continued and I started bleeding lightly so I called my OB and headed into L&D. By the time I got there and the nurse examined me, I was fully dilated and +2 station. I gave birth 52 minutes after getting to the hospital. Since my baby was late preterm, he was taken to the NICU for monitoring. His blood sugar levels were fine after the first day of monitoring and he never needed to be in an incubator or on oxygen. He was kept in the NICU to make sure he learned to feed well but we were able to take him home after 10 days. It was really difficult in the early days because it didn't seem like he would learn to feed anytime soon. The nurses kept assuring us that one day it would just click for him and he would started eating ravenously and that's exactly what happened. I sometimes feel guilty about giving birth a month early but the little guy is doing so well right now that I try to be just be happy things turned out okay.
