Party Favors? 106 votes
Kids only, adults don't care about that crap.
Everyone invited, they attended, brought a gift, it is the right thing to do.
Make one per family, people don't want four trinkets per family.
No favors, they are dumb.
Re: Party Favors?
For the adults I usually make cookies and send them home with a couple in a favor bag that says thank you.

My friend had a party for her 2 year old and she did bubbles as favors. There were plenty for all the kids, plus clearly enough that if a family wanted to snag an extra bottle or if adults just wanted some bubbles (because who doesn't love bubbles) they could, but they weren't handed to each person.
Eta: put them in a basket that says "thanks for coming."

DD . . . I didn't do favors, but the kids had a pinata to whack open.
We are having lots of kids (cousins) and I'm about maybe getting a piñata for them so they can have fun. I'm also thinking of getting a bounce house to keep them out of my hair and busy. One year old parties are kinda boring, imho... Esp for older kids.
