1) How many days past your due date are you? 5 days
2) How are you feeling/symptoms? I was all zen about going past my due date until this morning. I slept like crap so that's probably part of the problem. Then I get an email from my mother (who thinks she knows everything about medical stuff) with a link to a study about increased maternal complications after 40 weeks. She also wanted to tell me that I need to "stand up for myself against doctors" etc. WTF lady? She just loves medical treatment, she probably thinks I should go get induced for no reason.
3) Doing anything to induce labor? I spent some time on my birth ball last night bouncing around but that's about it. I might start doing more stuff tonight after work.
4) Appointments? I had one yesterday afternoon. I was dilated 1 cm, 60% effaced and baby was at -2 station. So at least there's been a little progress. My BP was a little high but they had me lay down and took it again and it was just fine. I go for a NST and U/S on Monday.
5) GTKY: Do you like scary movies? Which is your favorite? I hate scary movies! I am a big enough worrier, I don't need to watch movies to make me a more anxious person!

@whoberry‌ I have a friend that had a baby last year and she feels the need to tell me EXACTLY what I need to do. She went as far as saying under no circumstances to let them induce me..

1) How many days past your due date are you? 3

2) How are you feeling/symptoms?
Feeling ok just really tired of the contractions all night that are doing nothing!

3) Doing anything to induce labor? Spicy food, sex, birthing ball, and going for a pedicure today.

4) Appointments? Tuesday the dr said if I make it till then I will be induced.. Fx that little man decides to show up before then.

5) GTKY: Do you like scary movies? Which is your favorite? I used to love scary movies, but I have recently turned into a big baby and can't watch them.

@whoberry sitting on my ball has done nothing for me either

1) How many days past your due date are you? 3 days

2) How are you feeling/symptoms? My contractions have all but stopped(wtf?) but I am getting a little more pressure so maybe??

3) Doing anything to induce labor? Sitting on ball(not working, ha) and just getting up and moving today. I think we are going to go swim in the pool.

4) Appointments? At yesterday's appt I was 4cm and 70% effaced. She did strip whatever little membranes I had left. We went ahead and scheduled me for induction on Monday am if I make it til then, and we already talked about trying to avoid the pit if we end up there on Monday! Hopefully this weekend I will go on my own since I'm so close.

5) GTKY: Do you like scary movies? Which is your favorite? Not a fan of scary movies. I scare so easily!

2) How are you feeling/symptoms? I am feeling alright, pretty tired and taking lots of naps

3) Doing anything to induce labor? I am sitting on my ball, eating spicy food, doing acupuncture (not to induce but to encourage), walking...

4) Appointments? I have my appointment on Tuesday which will be 41+1

5) GTKY: Do you like scary movies? Which is your favorite? I used to LOVE scary movies but like most of you I can't handle them anymore... even previews for scary movies make me iffy.

@twistsandturnsto2 4 cm is really promising!!! Maybe you'll have a full moon baby! Fx for you! You also just reminded me that I saw an exercise ball in one of the empty offices at work the other day. It's even got one of those holder thingys (technical term) with wheels on it. I think I will see if I can go steal it to sit on while I'm in the office today. They told me to do as much hands and knees and leaning forward as possible. Of course that's hard when I'm so swollen, I just want to lean back and put my feet up!

@whoberry‌ I'm hoping 4cm is promising! I was at 3 for at least 2 weeks so I was just happy to see some progress yesterday. Baby is def holding on for dear life tho!

1) How many days past your due date are you?
I, too, am officially joining the overdue club, one day overdue.

2) How are you feeling/symptoms?
I had TONS of pressure last night and some nausea in the middle of the night. But nothing else happening. At my last appt I was 1cm and 80% effaced.

3) Doing anything to induce labor?
I've tried spicy food, sex and walking. This past Tuesday DH and I drove an hour away to buy some lemon drop cupcakes that caused 220 to go into labor, didn't work for me!

4) Appointments?
On Thursday, I'll have a stress test and they'll check fluids. Hoping to schedule an induction date then, only so I have a light at the end of the tunnel.

5) GTKY: Do you like scary movies? Which is your favorite?
I'm with you all, I hate scary movies. I can't watch previews or even hear about them. DH and I watched a scary detective show the other night and I've been scared every time I get up to pee since then... I'm such a wimp.

Days overdue=6!!!!

Feeling? Ugh...like I want him out. Ankles/feet look like red wood trees and they are painful. LO has been in the locked and loaded position for a month now, and the nerve he chooses to rest his head on about sends me through the roof every time he moves.

Labor instigation= everything from boat rides to plane rides the last two weeks, last night long walk with the fam even though my feet were killing me.

Appointments= Tuesday, no dilation, baby seems fine with hanging inside. Today I go in for U/S to check on baby and fluids...the word induction freaks me out!

Scary Movies=Love them but only when I can recruit someone to watch with me...favorite is the exorcist, classic!!

Best of luck to all you overdue ladies, I feel your pain!

@sarahgene61887 I thought I was being silly for trying the stuff on spinning babies but I'm definitely attempting to get the ball rolling and they sound logical to me!

1) How many days past your due date are you? 2

2) How are you feeling/symptoms? Same contractions and false labor for 3 something weeks, I don't even know anymore. Starting to get emotional and go between hopeless / excited and calm every hour or so. I got the hip pain y'all are all talking about, had it for quite a while, plus pain in my tailbone every time I sit on something new or sit too long or stand etc.

3) Doing anything to induce labor? Trying more of the spinning babies but I don't have a birth ball so just their stretches and things. I have been getting way more lightning crotch feelings today so maybe he will put enough pressure to get moving. I had been trying to move to make it better, but today I'm sitting through it. Can't remember any other time in my life I welcomed pain like I am doing now...c'mon, contractions that progress!!

4) Appointments? Next Thursday. Had one yesterday, complete with NST, everything looks good.

5) GTKY: Do you like scary movies? Which is your favorite? I don't do scary movies, either. SO loves them, but I can't handle gore of any kind.

2) How are you feeling/symptoms? Braxton Hicks all day, swollen legs & feet, a sense of nerves now that i know childbirth is almost upon me.

3) Doing anything to induce labor? Sex & Walking.. Taking Evening Primrose Oil to ripen cervix. going to chiropractor tomorrow and massage therapist monday.

4) Appointments? Only to get my hair cut & eyebrows done today. Next week is non stress test & biophysical profile.

5) GTKY: Do you like scary movies? Which is your favorite? HECK NO! I think they should all be banned & turned into Disney films.

I'm a day late but will answer like its still Friday... 1. 9 days 2. Fine. I took the day off work, put the kids in daycare for a short while and hung out with DH. We grabbed coffee, took a walk, had spicy Pho for lunch. I needed a mental-health day. Just trying to keep this all in perspective- I am blessed. 3. Spicy food, sex/orgasm/nipp stim, walking 4.induction Monday morning . 5. No, not really.
