Impatient for u/s

I am not scheduled until July 7th for my first u/s and I am feeling like the time will never pass. I do not remember feeling this way with DS. Anyone else feeling like their appointments are a world away :((

    My next appointment is not till the 3rd it will take forever! Just found out we are having twins and the next two weeks will be the most important to get through. Good luck!

    That seems kind of far away. Maybe if you asked they could give you one sooner than that?
    I had my first ultrasound this past Tuesday (I'm six weeks along). It might have been done that early because we were seeing a Fertility Specialist.  It was done by the Reproductive Endocrinologist. They had already confirmed the pregnancy with blood-work and urine samples.

    During the ultrasound we were able to check the number (only 1) and we were able to see the baby (only 4 mil. long).  We were also able to hear the heartbeat.

    Hang in there, I really hope you are able to get an earlier one :)

    @Tirtza9‌ congratulations on getting to hear your LOs heartbeat at 6 weeks! Such an exciting time!!

    My appointment on the 7th is with the Perinatologist (Bc of my recurring mc's) and that is the soonest they will see patients. I have a regular appointment with my OB prior but for some reason they are weird about scheduling dating u/a before that point. I even called to try and negotiate as my doctor told me he would like me to be seen at 6.5 weeks due to the prior losses. I don't know why the push back from them but, it's beyond frustrating to say the least!!

    Sorry to hear about their stubbornness OmSweetOm I can only imagine how frustrated you must be! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and hope for the best :)
