Keeping Baby Cool While On The Go?

Does anybody have any good suggestions for keeping baby cool while they are in the stroller going around town or otherwise walking outdoors? I've found that my little guy gets really sweaty and uncomfortable in his stroller after about 25 minutes of walking around, and then wants out. I was thinking about taking an ice pack and wrapping it in a towel and then putting that in the stroller with him, but I don't know if that would be too cold-- maybe it could cause shock since he's so little and the temp. difference is so high between the air and the ice.

What is everyone else doing to keep their beebs cool?

I swear a lot of the sweatiness comes from the material of the stroller/car seat! My stroller that came with my car seat does not breath well at all. My jogging stroller is a little better but not by much!

Someone suggested a Frogg Togg cooling cloth between the stroller and the baby. I got one for $10 on amazon but I haven't tried it yet.

The problem is that he's about 18lbs now, and it's hard to hold him AND push the huge kinderwagen through crowds of people and the such

I'll definitely get a fan at BRU, and I'll look up the Frogg Togg in the German Amazon. Thanks for the suggestions!
