I don't normally do this, but I'm still steaming and I just need to get it off my chest. MH hates his job and has been a bear in the morning lately. Now that I am back to work we're both up getting ready at the same time. Yesterday he was pissed off because the soap in the shower was a tiny sliver and needed to be replaced. I don't know where it was written that it is the wife's job to make sure her husband has a new bar of soap in the shower. I do all of the shopping, so this stuff just magically appears in the house. Toilet paper, soap, food, detergent....I stay pretty on top of it so it's very rare that we run out of stuff. But apparently that isn't appreciated and having to replace the soap himself is the worst thing in the world.
This morning he crabbed about the fact that I'm doing a Prostate walk Father's day morning with my family (my dad is a survivor) because "he is a father too now". Um yeah, the walk and breakfast will take a couple hours, I highly doubt anything he wants to do would happen before 11am anyway. Not to mention the fact that MY porch swing which was my mother's day present still hasn't been put together.
Do you have a husband vent? Make me feel better that all men can be jerks and not just MH.

Re: husband vent

In related news we think he's getting fired tomorrow (without grounds so we're lawyering up) so that's fun. I had better not have to cut my mat leave short. Ugh
In general I wish my husband would be more appreciative of everything I do to take care of LO (I'm now a stay at home mom and EBF). He has been working a lot lately which means I do everything on my own, from the time LO wakes up to when she goes to bed. The nights he is off of work on time, I have him help me put LO to bed and he seems to have no patience when she is fussy/doesn't want to sleep. All I want to hear is "good job" or "thank you for taking care of LO" every now and then.
