    Questions?:
Week's Successes/Challenges: Made it to exercise everyday except yesterday.  I take the senior spin class (figured it was more my speed), but it was cancelled yesterday and I had a doctor's appt.
GTKY: If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
If digestion were also not an issue, it would be cheese..

    Questions?: None.

    Week's Successes/Challenges: Not being active!
It's been a while but I've been laid up and not able to be active :( since I broke my foot. I hopefully get a walking boot on Monday and I will be SO EXCITED just to go on short walks.  I have however kept up doing some arm weights, and I've been trying to eat pretty healthy since I'm not moving like I was. I am really excited to try to track my steps again and build my strength up in that foot. My new goal is to have my foot 100% healed by the time this baby comes.

GTKY: If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? Breakfast. I know that's kind of cheating but you could do sweet, savory, etc. Breakfast pizza, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, waffles....breakfast is just my favorite.

    Questions?: ixnay

Week's Successes/Challenges: My run this morning was actually great! I'm thinking perhaps because I had no food in my stomach at the time, since my afternoon runs had been feeling painful. I'll stick to mornings and see how that goes. Not loving the moves in Tracy Anderson month 8 but oh well, it keeps me toned. Other challenge was finding out I'm measuring behind for the first time all pregnancy. Really hoping it's just a small glitch, and all is okay with LO.

GTKY: If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? I wish I could say something healthy, but honestly, almond milk ice cream.

  • How Far Along Are you: Is it bad that I don't keep track anymore?  30ish or something.
Questions?: I need ideas for strength training routines that require little to no equipment and can be done at home!
Week's Successes/Challenges: So Monday I was laid off from my job unexpectedly.  Unforunately the kettlebells class that I have been taking for almost a year and love was through work and I can no longer attend.  I am sad because I had 3 more weeks left of that and then was going to start a strength training class.  I have been walking a ton but don't want to give up strength training entirely.  Anyone have any favorite routines?
GTKY: If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
    Mashed potatoes and gravy.

  • How Far Along Are you: 30 weeks today !

Week's Successes/Challenges: Still running 25 mpw... did the math today and realized I've run 766.55 miles this pregnancy! :) If I keep an average of 24-25 mpw, I can reach 1000 miles by the end. I might try to bump (ha) it up a little to allow for the slow down(s) that keep coming. I'd love to hit 1000 miles

GTKY: If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? pancakes

  • RunningJ I read about your foot :( What a bummer!  Will you be out before the baby arrives?

rstarrlemaitre Oh my gosh! I don't like month 8 either!  I'm thinking of dropping back down to month 7.  The arm moves are fine, but some of the leg moves I'm really not into.

Rach604 I follow a site called bodyrock.tv (or dailyhiit.com) when I'm not pregnant.  They recently came out with a bodyrock baby line.  So far they have 3 videos.  Some of the moves have weights, but many do not or can be done without weight.  Check them out! Video 1 Video 2 Video 3

I am out of the cast on Monday (or the next week) then I have a boot I can bear weight on and start doing small walks (online I've read I could do a recumbent stationary bike, as well). I should be healed by mid July, but it's possible I'd be fine to walk and get around but not run until August/early September. Fine by me, as long as I can walk and function when LO is born, I can use my 6 weeks pp to heal up the foot and the rest of my body. It is a huge bummer, but I'm trying to look on the bright side- 1) I am glad it happened at 27 weeks instead of 37, and 2) it was a true accident where I tripped, it was so random and there was nothing I could have done to prevent it, so it's hard to feel like I overdid it or did anything wrong. Also, getting surgery is the right step, it will actually improve my ankle stabilty and help me in the long run in terms of running and working out.

  • How Far Along Are you: 32 weeks, 2 days
    Questions?: nope
Week's Successes/Challenges: I have actually been feeling more energetic this week than I have felt for a long tine, so that has been nice.  But I am definitely getting some bad acid reflux/heart burn, and it makes working out uncomfortable at times, I especially notice it when I am rowing.  And I am noticing much more so the effect of my extra weight gain on body weight movements this week.  I have had some good cross fit workouts this week though, so I can't complain.
GTKY: If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? This is so hard, because I am a huge fan of variety, like I would rather have an awesome mix of appetizers for dinner rather than one main meal.  If I am going to totally ignore health factors here I would go with ice cream though :)  I can always enjoy ice cream!

  • How Far Along Are you: 28w5d
    Questions?: Nope.
Week's Successes/Challenges: Meh. I didn't work out as much as I could have this week. And my run on Tues sucked because I started cramping. Still eating relatively healthy though.
GTKY: If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? That is a really tough question.. I don't know that I have an all time favorite food.. Cheese?? Bread?
  • How Far Along Are you: 31 weeks, 3 days!
Questions?: nope, none at the moment
Week's Successes/Challenges: It's official that I WON'T be testing for second degree black belt in December. I'll be waiting until December 2015 and I am 100% ok with this and not upset. I am still just going to one kung fu class per week and I won't go for all of August, but I'm thinking about at least going to the school and sitting in the back with LO watching the classes so I'm not totally disconnected. And I will keep training at home!
GTKY: If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? Oh man. If there was really only one thing I could eat and I needed to still be healthy and survive I would pick the entire food group of vegetables. Ha! But if all of my nutritional needs were somehow magically met and I could pick one thing, it would be tomato soup and grilled cheeses. Mmmmmm....
