Anyone else deal with this? Our baby has Tri18 and I was the one who wanted to continue the pregnancy. We brought her home the day after delivery and she's a fighter, today is day 3 for her.
It's excruciating for both of us, and DH is responding with sheer anger towards me. He has moments where he's back to himself, picking on me, showing me love, etc. but this is just pure hell for us.
Anyone else going through this or have experience with this? Is there a light at the end of the tunnel? We are strong so I have to believe we will get through this. But it's scary stuff.
**loss mentioned** Thank you ladies for your help. Just as DH finally came to some acceptance, our baby girl took a turn for the worse. She passed away in my arms yesterday. DH spent a lot of time holding her and took care of making all the calls, even helped me change her last diaper and change her clothes.
I have nothing but the utmost respect for those of you dealing with these tough situations long term. I don't know how you do it but I know I couldn't have done it without my family. I just hope you all have support and can lean on them without hesitation when you need it.
