What are your kids doing for the summer? Vacation plans? Day trips? Share your summer plans!

Nothing. We will be going to the beach/boardwalk at dusk though a lot. One of our local beaches does "movies on the beach"--with kid movies every friday night. Reese can't go into a movie theater really, so I figured this is the next best thing.

We signed up both boys for reading programs. They will attend Rutgers Reading program for 8 weeks.

DS1 also will be volunteering at habitat for humanity and hospital.

DS2- will be in camp & many library activities.
Vacations will be slim to none. I really want to take them to NYC for a overnight. We will see.

Money is tighter than a nun's vjay-jay right now!!!

We are going to Maine (family house) for the week of July 4th. Then later in July my parents are taking DS to New Hampshire for a week.

Hoping to make it up to my parent's cottage in Michigan sometime in August. We bought a new (to us) boat in May so we try to get out on the Chesapeake every weekend if possible.

DD will go to summer camp 3 days a week. We are taking a trip to an indoor waterpark in July for a few nights with a possible mini vacay to the Wisconsin dells in August.

The kiddo is doing a half-day day camp at preschool 1/week, music class 1/week, and 2 week long day camps at our tumbling center in August.

We have a camping trip planned over 4th of July weekend and I'd like to stay overnight at the beach at least once this summer.

Other than that, zoo trips, museum trips, park trips, splash pad, picnics, and play dates.

Nothing really. My babysitter takes her to the zoo once a week. She will transition back into daycare so she will be ready for preschool

Well E will be in daycare. They have a ton of fun things planned for them for the summer. M has summer school for 3 weeks in July, and I'll sign her up for a few week-long day camps. They have a babysitting course I really want her to take; she'll get certified in First Aid & CPR.

We want to take a trip up to Hershey but no solid plans yet. My goal this summer is to just get out of the house and do stuff. We sat around all last summer, we didn't even get to the pool. This year I'm looking for festivals, movie nights, etc.

DD is in a British soccer camp for 5 days in July. She is beyond excited for that. She is also practicing 2 times a week, and looking forward to joining her new team.

DS is playing TBall this summer, and is excited about that.

We have no plans for vacation this summer, so we will be hitting a lot of hiking trails on the weekend.

We decided to spare the trips this year since we took one last summer, and are in the middle of planning a big trip for next summer.
