Thursday workout

Anyone have anything to share today?

Today I'm going to the gym hopefully for a class and a run. I've also eaten pretty good today so I hope I can keep that up.

I have a wedding next weekend so I'm really hoping to lose some of this water weight/junk food bloat. I've been terrible about eating out this week.

    I overslept this morning, but I had a rough evening/night so I really needed the extra sleep. Tonight I'm planning to do a tank top arms workout and a cardio Sworkit.

  • I worked out yesterday in the morning. I did this app called carrot and it does 7 min workouts. I need to make myself do a run a lunch today!
  • Posted this in the Wednesday workout thread (whoops!), but doing a 5k tonight.  It'll be a run/walk combo for me since I'm only starting Week 7 Day 1 of C25k.  It's wicked hot and humid today but there's a margarita at the end. 

    I also want to try a barre class but need to wait a bit money-wise before I dive into that.

  • Ooo, that's a great idea, @PrivacyWanted!  I'll check that out.  I have one ballet DVD and it kicks my ass.  Ballet seemed so much easier when I was 13 years old...

  • I'm so happy because I put it on here that I was going to do my run at lunch so I did! I love the c25k program! also I had about 60 oz of water so far today!
  • I did day 3 of Couch to 5k today. I like it. It's structured and that helps me a lot. Even though I've been running(not great) for some time, I think this makes it easier for me.

    I've gotten a lot better with MFP and with the fitbit I feel like I'm really getting into a good groove. My confidence level is increasing and I'm not getting discouraged as easily.

  • Interesting. MFP said to lose 2lbs per week based on my exercise I was to eat 1200. So I tried to stay around that. I guess I need to research some more.
    MFP is pretty notorious for telling people to eat too few calories. I do like it for tracking my nutrition information but I generally disregard the limit it sets for me.
  • Also, the more exercise you log, it ups your allowed calories. Like when my fitbit syncs, my calorie goal goes up. Either way, 1200 is too low. I told MFP to fuck right off when it tried to pull that shit on me.
