Hi ladies!

@luvboston has offered to take over the check-in for me, so thank you!!  Since the security at work has changed, it's been really hard to keep up with the weekly check-in and I wouldn't want to let you ladies down ;)  ( @luvboston - I e-mailed the info to you)

This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community and is currently TTC again, either on their own, or via injectibles, IUI, IVF, adoption, etc. 

A check-in will be posted every week. Please send me a PM or reply to the check-in post if you would like to be added to the group. Each check-in will provide the opportunity for you to provide an update as to where you currently are in your TTC.

TTC, without meds, hoping for a wonderful "surprise!"

Ducky719 – 6/4 - I had my consult Mon. I need to redo the trial transfer and the saline/ultrasound (scheduled for this coming Mon), start antibiotics this sat, and go for bloodwork sometime between now and cd1. The doc was nice enough to offer to start me on bcp this week but we decided not to rush through the testing. So i call cd1 (sometime in July) for a transfer sometime prob in aug/sept. I was a little bummed about the quality of our frozen embryos, but I'm trying to be optimistic. our doc said they can grow more within a few hours so we'll just have to see! Beside that, my clinic had a 80% thaw rate and a 42% chance of pregnancy w a fet for women my age. Fingers crossed! 

Julie21613 - 5/15 - Met with my RE on 5/8.  Not much to report.  She is ready to move forward when we are.  Haven't gotten AF yet.  Somedays I feel like she's arriving then it passes.  I will go in for my day 3 bloodwork when she decides to make an appearance.  DH and I decided we would continue to try on our own through the summer.  This will DD's first summer and we want to enjoy every minute of it with her and not worry about injections, u/s & bloodwork.  So looks like we will probably cycle in the fall.

lovemybellag - 4/30 - I am 32 DH 33 and we have a DD who is 14 months.  Currently still BF and no PP yet although I have had some spotting last weekend.  I tok an HPT but it was negative.  Appt with dr end of month and then possible going back to RE depending on what OBGYN says.  I just started temping.  So we are anxiously awaiting some news as to what is going on, whether I am ovulating and whether we can try on our own or need to go stright to IUI.  right now we are trying but by tring we are having sex when we can find the time.


mnj05 – 6/4 -  Our appointment is Tuesday!! I'm getting excited and hopeful but also trying to keep myself grounded and realistic about the whole thing.

phishgirl29 - 5/15 - Still trying on our own. Last cycle was a bust and I was supposed to call the RE but I haven't yet. I will though! I'm temping again which is "fun". 

TTC, with treatments

Bellalou – 6/4 - TY.  I'm not holding up so well.  This has been the hardest 2ww of my life knowing this is my last chance.  I KNOW that this didn't work.  I just know it.  I have no symptoms and POAS with no luck.  AF is due in like 3 days.  sigh....

blueberries8 - 5/29 - FET #3 was a no-go because none of the embryos continued to develop after thawing  I stopped my meds and now I am just waiting to get AF and on June 12 I meet with the RE to come up with a new plan.

Efhoping2010 – 6/4 - Well after all that planning, DH has important meetings and cannot miss per his work, any time in July, so now we cannot have our fresh IVF/ICSI #4 in July. I am really sad about this.  We need a fresh PESA at ER, I need that 10% higher success rate it could give us so using frozen sperm not at ER is not an option.  So DH says maybe August or November, since we have to plan being out of state and time off of work and babysitting.

emwaiting - 4/16 - We just did IUI #2 yesterday so in the 2WW at the moment.  The u/s looked great with the sizes and number of follies but it has many other times so trying not to get my hopes up.  The procedure itself went well and just a little achy today.  Hopefully we will get a miracle in a couple weeks otherwise we are going back to IVF since that worked for #1.  We just don't know when we will go back to the IVF because of the price tag on it!

fullfhope – 6/4 - I have my follow up with RE on 6/12.

itsmevkb - 5/29 - I am lining up what feel like a million appointments in preparation for what will hopefull be a FET this summer.  So far I've see my endocrinologist and my thyroid as of right now is good.  I have an appointment next week with my hematologist to discuss the wisdom of taking estrogen giving my history of a DVT, then at the end of April I'll go back for another pap test which had better be good and then it's on to the RE for whatever testing they will do. I have August in my head as to when I'd like to do the FET but I know that will be here before I know it (as I watch snow/sleet fall outside.)

Jenny935 - 6/4 - Did stim shot #1 tonight. Had to keep saying "It doesn't hurt that much! It doesn't hurt that much!" before I did it, but I managed to stick it in with minimal drama. Tomorrow will be easier. No monitoring until Saturday after my 3rd night of stims.

kmc84 - 6/4 - Today was my ER with a whopping 18 retrieved! I still am in shock with that number! I'm pretty uncomfortable right now....hopefully my belly feels better tomorrow! I'll post when I get the fert report tomorrow!
 
LauraBeth1401 - 6/4 - No real update for me.  Meds are ordered and FET and lining check are scheduled.  I start meds on 6/25.

luvboston - 5/29 - I can't believe I am writing this, Sunday I start Humira in prep for baby #2

Mayzie15 – 6/4 - My U/S is tomorrow and I'm absolutely terrified. I've wracked my brain about what they will or won't see. My appt is late tomorrow afternoon so work will drag by. My OB is very concerned this could be an ectopic pregnancy which scares me more. I'm really trying to remind myself that "whatever will be, will be" so much easier said that done.

mg0202 - 5/29 - I'm on CD4 and our appointment is in two weeks! 

Pam MG - 5/7 - DS IUI tomorrow, feeling really crampy tonight which I am going with is a good thing. We have 3 eggs this time unlike the only one last time.

STL34 – 6/4 - Baseline was this morning.  I'm still waiting to hear from the nurse as to whether we are a go to start meds tonight!  I hope she calls soon!

trigirl79 - 6/4 - Beta was negative on Tuesday. We're taking a break in June, I'll do temps and OPKs but no meds. AF arrived yesterday, which is actually good news since hopefully it means my body is finally regulated.

MoFree - 5/29 -  I am going to the RE for b/w and u/s and whatever else I need to do for my next IVF. As I previously mentioned, not looking forward to results of DH's SA. He is not the least bit macho but MFI is such an affront to his masculinity.

Cwhitaker27 - 3/12 - 25 weeks today. Had my GTT on Monday. I haven't heard anything back, so far no news is good news. Continuing to be team green!

Eve_Angelique - 4/11 - Saw my little lady for the 4th time today, 2 weeks ago when I had my u/s they didn't get good enough pics of her spine, so I had another today, it was so good to see her squirming around in there! 

Kdfecarie, EDD 8/29/14 (CS 8/22/14) - 5/29 - passed my GD test with flying colors, and i am chugging along to 3rd tri in a few days! Almost 28 weeks! Its going so fast, i cant believe it!!!
 
carrera317 – 4/30 - Wow. I guess I've been MIA for a while! 22 weeks here and doing ok. It's finally starting to settle into my infertile mind that I just might bring this baby home! Freak out time!!! All tests and our ultrasound have looked great. We went on a nice vacation to the Caribbean for our 10 year anniversary and now are starting to prep for this new one. It looks like I'm amongst good company with a due date of 9/2 but a probable c section the week before (just not the 29th cuz that's MY birthday!). 

Kissies - 4/30 - So I'm 23 weeks now, went to ob this week and my b/p starting to elevate 130/90. I had her check my other arm and it was normal. The elevated arm is the arm I have carpal tunnel in and of course the 3 blood pressure checks made it act up! I got labs done as baseline and all looked good and urine was negative. Still on makena to prevent preterm labor (hate it makes me super emotional and cry like 24 hrs after taking it weekly). I'm afraid I'll be a nervous wreck come 28 weeks because that' when my water broke last time. Trying to stay calm and keep that blood pressure down :o) I go back next week because of blood pressure. 

LeoLauren - 1/15 - It's official. BFP x 2! Omg (what I'll be saying a lot for the next 7 months)!

Mnerani – 6/4 - Hard week. Hosting a 300-person international conference in West Africa, missing my baby terribly, my belly and back have broken out in hives from stress, and now I'm sick. Also, we move from Kenya to the U.S. in about a week and our mover just changed our shipment date.  But, I'm feeling little baby kick more and more, which is majorly joyful and I'm looking forward to my life slowing down a little bit so that I can enjoy this pregnancy.
 
Ironmom2be - 4/2 - My update is I'm in limbo between RE & OB. First OB appt isn't for another two weeks. Since I was still spotting last week, my RE offered to have me come in for another u/s, so that's next tuesday (9w) I'm feeling ok, seems like exercising is causing the spotting (my scientific study) so I'm trying to balance staying active enough that I don't feel like a slug and doing too much to cause spotting. I'm tired and nauseous (at times) so I'm just counting my blessings and hoping the 1st tri is over asap so my worries can hopefully fade a little

BabyKsMommy - EDD 11.27.14 - 4/16 - Well we have twins, both with a fetal pole. There also is an empty sac so we are going back on Friday to see how everything looks..
 
ccam - EDD 11.29.14 - 6/4 - Nothing much to update!  I had a good appointment last week and heard the beautiful hb.  I'm 14w4d today and feeling a lot better than I was a few weeks ago.

Pennylane26 - EDD 11.26.14 - 6/4 -  Feeling really good, officially in 2nd tri. Honestly, so busy with G sometimes I forget I'm pregnant and DH forgets all.the.time. He asked me if I wanted to go out for drinks this weekend. ahem, nope? It's so different with a LO at home. I'm so excited for G to be a big sister!

srveatch – 5/15 -  The results of my thyroid panel came back and they say I have Hyperthyroidism. Apparently it can make your MS worse than normal. I have been pretty sick lately and I am pretty freaked out about what this means for my pregnancy. I have an appointment with the Endocrinologist on Wednesday.  

mdiblasi10 - 6/4 - I'll be 6 weeks on Saturday and we have our weekly ultrasound on Friday. I'm looking forward to it. It still doesn't feel real that I'm pregnant.

    CallMeAl - Welcomed a 7lb 8oz, 21inch long baby boy on 2.22.14 at 4:27pm!!

    McGeeva - Welcomed her lucky charm, Carter John, on 3.17.14 at 11:40am... in 8 inches of snow!!  7lbs 14oz, 20.5 inches...3/26 - No update really just hit two weeks with ds#2. Adjusting to having two which is a lot tougher then I thought. I swear it wouldn't be as bad if I wasn't hurting anymore. Hoping to feel better in a week or so.

    imoverit - Turned Team Pink on 4/15/14!!!  Julia weighs 7lbs and 5oz.  Congrats

    Update - I'm waiting for Tuesday to get here for my ultrasound and hoping I will see the heartbeat. It's literally like watching a pot to boil - I've done everything to keep my mind off of it but the time is just creeping by. I'm over 6 weeks and no MS which scares me - with my son I had it starting at 6 weeks until my 5 month - nothing so far.

    QOTW without a doubt if I could live on avocados and watermelon all summer I would be happy :)

    Me 38 MH 41 - TTC since June 2010 - dx with Severe MFI. Straight to IVF with ICSI. IVF #1 - ER 06/13/12 - 9 Eggs Retrieved - 4 ICSI'd - only 2 fert. 06/15/12 - 2DT - 3 cell & 6 cell with fragmentation. Beta 06/29/12 - IVF #1 = BFN. 07/20/12 - WTF Appt -Told by our RE to quit IVF. Second Opinion from RE is good. IVF#2 - November 2012. Estradiol Pills Started 11/6. Stims start 11/16. ER 11/26 - 7 eggs retrieved - all mature. 4 fertilized with ICSI. ET 11/29 Transferred 3 embryos. Beta is 12/10. 1st Beta 81 2nd Beta 160 and 3rd beta 360!!! First U/S 12/21/12 - We saw one beautiful gest. sac. 2nd U/S is 01/04/2013 - H/B 183 02/05/13 - NT Scan - everything looks good and IT'S A BOY!  Aiden was born 08/20/2013.

    IVF #2 is in progress.  ER was 05/12/14 - 11 eggs retrieved, 8 fertilized with ICSI.  ET was 05/15/14 - we transferred 3 embryos as we did on the cycle my son was conceived.  We were able to freeze 3 embryos. Beta is scheduled for 05/26/14.  1st beta - 111.  2nd beta - 159 didn't double :( 3rd beta Friday 5/30) - not a lot of hope left. Beta # 3 is 247 - probably ectopic.  Beta # 4 is 813 - possibly vanishing multiple sydrome?  06/05/14 - 5w4days - first U/S - we see a gestational sac and yolk - still have hope!  06/17/14 - 7w1day - U/S and saw and heard the heartbeat - Finally!  06/27/14 - 8w4days - Baby and heartbeat look and sound great :)  EDD 02/01/14 and It's a boy!

    GL to everyone cycling or about to begin.
    I am starting IVF #2 in August when we return from vacation. If things proceed normally ET would be in the end of September. I am both excited to try again and terrified of all the 'what ifs.'
    QOTD: Arizona summers are so hot it's something to endure rather than enjoy. We eat a lot of cold salads and melon. Corn used to be one of my favorite summer foods until I learned that approximately 90% of the US corn crop is from GMO seed (thank you Monsanto) and organic corn is very hard to find.

    @MoFree I wonder if corn grows well where you live. We just started growing about four plants and already have two ears of corn that are almost ready to eat. They are organic plants from our local nursery. Wishing you all the best with IVF #2!

    Our IVF cycle is chugging along.  I am waiting for a call regarding today's monitoring appointment.  I have 5 follicles that are progressing nicely.  I would guess we will trigger on Saturday.  But, I am sure I will have another monitoring appointment on Friday and probably one on Saturday.  If other follicles decide to join the party, they may push me off a little longer than that.  We shall see!  Just hoping and praying that this cycle brings us another miracle.  I'm afraid that this could be the end of the line otherwise.

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN

    1 shot down another on Monday. My joints are killing me, my doc thinks I might have developed antibodies to Humira FML! If so I might need to take prednisone to take it or try another biologic but I already have 3 doses 6k of humira:( the test for this is $250.

    Q: BBQ chicken and pineapple and watermelon and don't forget the lemonade.

    Good luck everyone cycling and waiting for ultrasounds!
    I am 15 weeks today and feeling so much better. I was so tired and sick from 5 weeks til about a week ago I couldn't even post because I know I would have sounded ungrateful and pathetic. They are thinking my thyroid levels should have leveled out by now, I have a follow up in a few weeks and MS has finally cleared up. The insane sinus infection I had is cleared and I am now on Zyrtec for the impromptu allergies that developed. Yay!
    QOTW: We live to grill the veggies from our garden and kabobs! Yummy!!!

    @Cwhitaker27So far so good!!! :) had a check up today and the doc says i am measuring a little small now... But still feeling great! :) time is flying!!!

    Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses....
    All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!

    As you know our July cycle is now not going to happen 

    I want to go big and go to CCRM and have ODWU this or next month, DH has extreme sticker shock along with the three flights we would need to cycle since they would want us to do IVF/ICSI and then CCS with FET.

    DH wants us to cycle at the much less $$$ clinic 1 but I am arguing with them over DH and a fresh PESA, they thick frozen is fine ugh, and my protocol, they seem not so keen on no bcp or lupron.

    So either way I would need pretests either at CCRM or remote here for clinic 1.

    Feeling frustrated since I was so looking forward to starting about now.

    Oh and AF came 4 days late, probably from stress on Wednesday June 11, so now I need to figure out if pre testing will happen this month.

    I know this is last week's post.  But, I thought I should update.  We only had one egg fertilize from this last IVF cycle.  If it is still growing, it will be transferred tomorrow.  Any thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated!!

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    Me 38 MH 41 - TTC since June 2010 - dx with Severe MFI. Straight to IVF with ICSI. IVF #1 - ER 06/13/12 - 9 Eggs Retrieved - 4 ICSI'd - only 2 fert. 06/15/12 - 2DT - 3 cell & 6 cell with fragmentation. Beta 06/29/12 - IVF #1 = BFN. 07/20/12 - WTF Appt -Told by our RE to quit IVF. Second Opinion from RE is good. IVF#2 - November 2012. Estradiol Pills Started 11/6. Stims start 11/16. ER 11/26 - 7 eggs retrieved - all mature. 4 fertilized with ICSI. ET 11/29 Transferred 3 embryos. Beta is 12/10. 1st Beta 81 2nd Beta 160 and 3rd beta 360!!! First U/S 12/21/12 - We saw one beautiful gest. sac. 2nd U/S is 01/04/2013 - H/B 183 02/05/13 - NT Scan - everything looks good and IT'S A BOY!  Aiden was born 08/20/2013.

    IVF #2 is in progress.  ER was 05/12/14 - 11 eggs retrieved, 8 fertilized with ICSI.  ET was 05/15/14 - we transferred 3 embryos as we did on the cycle my son was conceived.  We were able to freeze 3 embryos. Beta is scheduled for 05/26/14.  1st beta - 111.  2nd beta - 159 didn't double :( 3rd beta Friday 5/30) - not a lot of hope left. Beta # 3 is 247 - probably ectopic.  Beta # 4 is 813 - possibly vanishing multiple sydrome?  06/05/14 - 5w4days - first U/S - we see a gestational sac and yolk - still have hope!  06/17/14 - 7w1day - U/S and saw and heard the heartbeat - Finally!  06/27/14 - 8w4days - Baby and heartbeat look and sound great :)  EDD 02/01/14 and It's a boy!
