SSRIs and pregnancy

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted some feedback from other women who were on an SSRI during pregnancy. I'm on 10mg Cipralex (Lexapro in the USA) and almost 18 weeks pregnant. My doctor insisted I stay on the somewhat low dose during pregnancy even though my feelings were mixed about it.

Recently, due to a hectic schedule and being away from home, I missed a few days. It was stupid of me not to be more careful. I didn't miss multiple pills in a row, but I missed a few days within and two or three week period. Has anyone had experience missing a few doses during pregnancy, and did you experience significant negative effects?

    I have forgotten a few doses here and there without any problems.  If you are not having symptoms, I would say don't worry.  How are you doing on the low dose?  My dose did not change, so that may be why I did not experience negative affects of missing a few here and there.
