My apologies if this was discussed recently... Lets talk boobs + swimsuits... So I'm sitting here in a black one-piece halter swimsuit (Dest.Mat) that was just delivered to my house.... It's cute..... But I look like one of those ancient fertility goddesses I had to study in my art history class 10 years ago. Why no support?? I don't want to spend a bloody fortune on a bathing suit ill wear for 2 months, but at the same time I don't want my boobs resting on my belly as I'm lounging on a pool float. I want to look like ME - with boobs lifted - not some mammal ready to feed her litter... Feel free to complain about the lack of support and underwires.... Or if you happen to know of a awesome swimsuit that supports the girls, please share!!!

I just bought a bathing suit at Target from the plus sized section. I normally wear a 10-12 in women's sizes and I bought a 22 in plus sizes. It has an underwire and adjustable straps. It's also cut in the front like a maternity suit, with a lot of room to grow. It was only $30. I've expanded to a 38I this pregnancy and it supports the girls a lot more than the maternity suits I tried on. I wore it to my parents this weekend and my dad said I looked really great in my suit with my belly (and he's usually pretty critical).

So, this may be silly.. But it works for me. I bought a plain black underwire strapless bikini top separate from VS in the right cup size (fairly expensive). I now buy any suit that I want, no matter how little support there is, and just wear the VS top underneath. It really is like wearing a waterproof bra and the added fabric isn't too much. I love the support I get and it lets me wear the cutest suits from any brand - including cheapies - which of course rarely have adequate support and/or wires in true cup sizes.

I was a member of the Itty bitty titty committee but the girls are getting bigger ! I got some J Crew bikini tops in my bra size

I was able to find a maternity halter swim top at Kohls on clearance for like $13. No, it does not have exactly the support that I really need, but it fits and will cover me enough to get through a week of vacation. Even before I was preggo, I had a rough time finding a suit that supported the gals and didn't cost a $60+ a piece.

I'm debating wearing a bikini with underwire this summer. Normally I wear a miracle suit but not this summer. Normally I would never wear a bikini but I'm pretty proud of my belly though I don't have an outie or that red line (yet?). Ebay has good prices if you know what size you need. I think I might need a 36g. I'm not leaving the house without proper support, let alone taking it all off at the beach.

I got a motherhood suit that fits surprisingly well. The support comes from me being an H cup crammed into the space of a pair of DDs. It just looks a little more pinup-y and, well, less modest than I usually wear. But the bounce factor is contained, so yay!

i see this topic is basically dead but here's my report on what i wound up doing. i bought a two piece suit at kohl's (using my mom's 30% off coupon), it has adjustable straps, which i adjusted so i can cover my bra straps. i'm going to wear a bra under my suit, it's the only option that won't leave me looking floppy and gross. it's easily the biggest suit ever but the fabric is cute.
