Anyone else nesting?

So ... I'm either going crazy, or I'm nesting. Or, maybe, both!

Yesterday (for no real reason), I decided that SOMETHING HAD TO BE DONE with the wrapping paper supplies. The fact that there was no real order to it all was driving me crazy.

After researching ideas on pinterest, I spent all day turning an old wooden trunk into an organized wrapping center. It's SO organized and it makes me strangely content. I'm just wondering what my next MUST DO quest will be ...

Anyone else doing this type of thing too?

Last Saturday morning after dropping dh off at the airport I decided I wasn't going back to bed and would do yard work instead. Sweep, hoe the weeds, water front and back lawn, pick up dog poop-- At 6am!!!! Not sure if that's nesting-- but never have I ever wanted to do yard work especially at that ungodly hour!!

I used a swiffer last week to dust the walls in our bedroom. I just couldn't take it any longer. I nest in spurts.

I get crazy obsessive either over a project or cleaning an area. It must be done, I do not eat and barely pee. Until its done. Tonight I wanted the glider put together and the wooden letters I made spelling her name hung. BF got home around 4 andby 8 i hit crazy mode and said it MUST be done. Its done now and looks. So perfect!!

Yes! At least mine do ... I went out last week and bought a feather duster with a long handle because the dust in the corners of the ceiling were bothering me! I guess we're in the same boat, caybeh!

I wish I was! So much to do, but I can't seem to get the motivation! I don't have to work this weekend, so I'm hoping to get some baby stuff organized, but DH already mentioned wanting to go to a car show. :-S

Umm...it had been like three years or so since the walls were cleaned. I am not so good at doing a deep clean spring cleaning. It's just our room that gets really dusty. I'm having the air ducts cleaned in a few weeks so hopefully that will help with the dust.

Oh I am nesting alright! Last month we finally got our basement remodel underway and can finally use it for storage, so after 3 years, the baby's room is finally all cleaned out. Ever since then I have been going room by room and reorganizing. I also have to do the dishes ASAP and today my laundry actually got folded right after it came off the clothesline. It has helped my motivation that we got new furniture in our bedroom so I was forced to clean that out, but either way I have been nesting crazy. I am also in the process of making a bunch of freezer meals, but I am a personal chef, so that is my job anyways, I am just making them for us instead of my clients.

I bought new lamps for our bed room but instead ran around the house with them trying them out in different areas of the house and making notes of where I want to revamp the lighting. In the process I would put the lamps in areas that had clutter/crap sitting and made notes to get rid of that stuff b/c a lamp would look so much better.

Yes. Although I think it was even a little more intense since we moved and then had our baby shower the following weekend. I HAD to get everything unpacked, cleaned and organized as much as possible at any cost. I don't think I sat down for days! I haven't been as crazy since then but definitely get the must.do.it.now feeling at random times- day or night!

I made SO come to BRU with me last weekend to get all the rest of the stuff we needed that we didn't get at the shower. It may or may not have been like an hour before they were closing but I got it in my head that we MUST go now! Btw, I'm talking like socks, diaper cream, shampoo/ wash etc. Little things that totally could have waited but I'm picky about that kind of stuff and it was giving me anxiety. He knows better than to say anything to me about it

I must say though, after our little incident today, I guess you never know so better to be prepared early if you can. These babes are on their own time!

I typically HATE cleaning and organizing, but last weekend, I just had to start organizing the nursery or I thought I was going to go crazy! I walk around and see so many things I need to clean before baby arrives. This is a very foreign feeling for me...

Nesting/unpacking still. Trying to get as much possible done in other parts of the house now. New garage is due to be completed by beginning of July. So will be able to move all the stuff currently being stored in baby's room into garage. Then will have one month to paint and get everything ready. Holding my breath and crossing my fingers that this all happens.
