I have had two Brazilian waxes in my life - one not pregnant, one pregnant. The one I got while I was pregnant hurt about a million times more than the one I got while not pregnant. I think the esthetician and I both thought I was going to have to leave only half-waxed, because it was so painful that I could hardly take it. There's majorly increased blood flow down there during pregnancy, so it hurts more. I did it toward the beginning of my first pregnancy (we were going to the beach,) and there was no way on earth I was going to do it again towards the end of my pregnancy. I just ended up shaving instead. DH offered to help if I needed it (since it's harder to reach/see down there when your belly is big,) but I was able to do a reasonably good job by myself.
I have continued getting them through pregnancy. Not that bad, the last one was a little more tender. I like having things all cleaned up since I can't see to do it myself. I think post delivery it will just be tidier. I didn't have one last time, but I don't think it will make a huge difference.
