My life was forever changed (in more ways than one) when I was a milspouse and married to manchild. I don't know the girl before. Like literally. Through all of the shit and PTSD and all of the suck that came fromit, I can't be away from the mil community. Civilians don't get it like other mil and former mil do...so for me...I feel most at home and can indentify best with military families. Soooo the USO would be a dream or an org who helps wounded warriors, ptsd, sick vets, abused women, etc. I wanted to start my own for women who were abused/left service members with ptsd but its so hard to start an NPO...esp a military one...esp one like that. Leaving a service member who has PTSD or is wounded is a big no no...hence why I want to start.

My sister's a veteran so I totally get this. She currently works as a mental health counselor and one of her focuses is on veterans with trauma/PTSD.

Ever consider working for Wounded Warrior Project? I think they're based out of Jacksonville!

I applied to WWP about fifty thousand trillion million times in Jax, NC, & here. Never a response. I have mixed feelings about them. Kinda the WalMart of NPO. Suck the life out of all the little ones...but they do good stuff. If they ever give me the time of day then sure.

Dream job? I'd have to be independently wealthy to do this but I'd love to train horses again for a living and have enough property to own/operate a small animal rescue.
