We used to do the final feeding between 9 and 10 (anywhere from 15-60 min) and she'd fall asleep after that and wake up between 6:30 and 7:30. However, now we're waking her up at 5:30 every morning, so I definitely think she needs to be sleeping earlier. What's a reasonable final feed/bedtime for a 3-4 month old who STTN? I just fear it'll turn into us putting her to bed as soon as we are home from work!
Re: For those ladies whose LOs don't do MOTN feedings, what time does LO go to sleep?
My lo does his final feeding around 10-10:30 but he also doesn't wake up until 7 (ideally).
I agree with PP about just putting her to bed an hour or two earlier to compensate for the earlier wake up.
ETA that M is going to be 4 months on the 25th of this month.
I know i shouldn't complain, and I'm not really, but 6am is rough when I have to work that night. Makes for a long 26+ hours awake.
How slowly do I need to move it back? 30 min at a time?
He's up at 4 to eat? Or for the day? @megash113 My LO goes down around 10/10:30 (although he's asleep for the night now). He wakes up between 4 and 6 to eat. He goes back to sleep until 8/8:30/9. Except we're currently experiencing sleep regression. (Love my mom, but she blames this on the following things: EBF, making motn too "fun," "allowing" LO to catnap, and my insistence that LO not lay in crib and cry.)
To be clear, that's what we have been doing the last week, since our weight issues are being addressed. Prior, we would nurse to sleep around 9, and she would sleep either until we woke her (because work), or anywhere from 8-9 (she slept until 11am one time-MH let her sleep... i wasn't thrilled).
